Staff who take bookings are unaware of important details and do not ring back to answer queries as promised - not even after a second telephone call. We chose this restaurant because it was dog friendly in the bar and we established this with the restaurant during the booking call so we booked our table SPECIFICALLY in the bar. We... More

What a lovely 'Christmasy' feel. Sharon had decorated the bar area very subtly - the pub doesn't need that much as it is always very cosy. The fire lit and candle-light adds to the charm. The restaurant was decorated for a Christmas meal and looked very festive - once again very subtle decorations. We didn't eat this time but understand... More

Having booked a table, since we understood that it would be busy, we sat in a nice area in the bar with our dog and had a very enjoyable lunch by a roaring log fire. Would definitely return when in Ludlow again.

We ate here in this nice cosy little pub with a roaring fire going it all added to atmosphere of the pub. We booked which was a good idea as there were people turning up on the off chance but no spare tables.

Our B&B suggested dinner at the Unicorn and we could not have been happier. We had a couple half-pints of the ales on cask (don't remember which), and dinner which was a burger and a pork hock. The pork was very nice, with a tangy gravy. I'd be happy to eat it again, but I won't because if or when... More

Booked in for dinner on a Friday evening. Lovely old atmospheric pub with real fires, real ale and good food. A cold damp evening outside but the atmosphere was great and the pub was busy.

We visited on a Sunday evening on recommendation. The Unicorn is very "Olde Worlde" with a proper log fire and several real ales. Me and my wife both enjoyed our meals, and I enjoyed a very good Hereford bitter .

We recently had a 2 day stay in Ludlow and ate at the Unicorn both nights. The menu was varied and at reasonable prices. The food was plentiful and of excellent quality. The second night co incided with a 'jamming session' from local musicians which was brilliant. If you want good food, not too pricey, with a pub atmosphere try... More

We went here for a family meal. We had no problems with the place, the service was good, and the food was lovely. We all had desert which went down well with everyone.

Me and the wife had lunch there and both had the local bangers and mash. Great food at a very reasonable price. It's a very nice friendly little boozer too quite dark and gothicy inside.

Thank Mark C
