Called in for lunch on the way home and omg wish we had never set foot in the place. We were starving so I quickly checked veggie options and ordered. But then whilst studying a menu I noticed it said some things marked as veggie...More

Popped in to catch up with friends & ordered the chicken sharer. Took a while to arrive but tbh think waitress was new. Chicken was good - cooked well & not dry. Fries were OK but the rest - bit of a let down. Salad...More

Popped in here for evening meal having booked into the Travelodge next door. It is a Marstons pub and offered 2-4-£10 on certain main meals. The ambience was nice and the staff friendly. The meals arrived within about 5 mins of our ordering and tasted...More

We were at the Travelodge next door and came here two nights on the trot mainly through lack of choice close by. The food was very typical of what you get in such pubs and was of a decent enough standard. The staff were very...More
I'm please you enjoyed your experience with us while visiting The Squirrel. Thank you for taking the time to review this.
Have visited The Squirrel several times this week. Cozy atmosphere with good food and service. This is a family friendly establishment. There is a play area for the younger set.

Called in tonight for a meal for two. We were served our drinks immediately and the food arrived in 10 minutes. Nothing to fault. Even sat out in the sun to enjoy it.
Lovely to read you review, pleased you enjoyed your visit and even some sun 👍🏿
For the price the food was below average and the service so slow nearly left! From ordering main courses only wanted 1hr 05mins for the food and what a disappointment....but no member of staff came to us and said their is a delay or anything...More

The vegetarian Sunday 'roast' appeared inviting on the menu - ale and vegetable pie. The reality was some large cold lumps of unappetising battery substance, with very little evident served with some congealed vegetables. Avoid.
I'm sorry our vegetarian option wasn't to your liking, we would of been happy to amend this for you at the time of your visit. Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss further
