Just a brilliant place to be and eat. Absolute favourite with the kids. Waffles to die for. Have had dinner too. Just great.

organised myself, including an online meeting to go to eat at the cafe this evening - turns out it has changed closing hours to 7 rather than 9, so with a meeting a 7 my plans were scuppered. Even online it still says it closes...More

I'm very sorry about this and sad to say that, yes, we were forced to amend our opening hours before Christmas for the first time in 15 years. We have announced this on Twitter and posted our new opening hours on the door of the...More

Really nice little hidden gem, away from the main busy town centre. A bit on the pricey side but food was lovely and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming.

Great to have breakfast in this cafe that's been around for years. I had the English breakfast and it was all cooked to perfection. Great surroundings - love places like this.

The food is okay and so is the cake. Miserable staff though...i suspect the kit hen staff aren't so nice and its rubbing offon the shop floor staff. Would probably come back if no other options are available

Not a disaster... just uninspiring. Coffee bland. Food menu nice and simple... just prepared and served with little care or detail to taste. Too simple for the price. The staff seem disenchanted. For a small cafe like this there needs to be some staff buy-in,...More

We visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The food was very good quality. The sausages were very nice, as was the bacon. We were heartened to see a decent plate of food, not the usual half a tomato, 2 mushrooms and 1/4 slice of...More
