Adhering to a common format the Cafe/'Bistro'serves up what its clientele obviously want. Good For them. Personally I prefer far better gourmet quality but then you cant have everything. The awning outside is a bit dirty and has seen better days. (2010s era) The Cafe...More

I recently went here and required Gluten Free food. The staff were all very helpful and considerate. They were happy to make substitutions where necessary. The homemade falafel was delightful. The chicken and chorizo stew was also very tasty..oh, and good coffee. Highly recommended

It is a local cafe, a bit off the beaten path with a touch of the chic, hipster vibe. That said the patrons were from all walks of life, from fresh faced college students to pensioners. They have a broad based menu to cater to...More

The Jericho Cafe is in a nice location, and the people serving are lovely. But I went there this morning for a full breakfast and was very disappointed. The bacon was practically inedible, the two eggs were badly cooked. The baked beans and mushrooms were...More

Had not been to The Jericho Cafe for a few years, after moving out of Oxford. However, on returning this cafe has not let its standards slip and is still serving fabulous food for a good price. We came here for lunch and I had...More

Only stopped for a quick breakfast on way into Oxford. Nice ambience and great service. Lots of breakfast options including vegetarian breakfasts, and cakes and coffees. Seemed very popular. Porridge with seeds and honey was very nice and set me up for the day.

We are sorry about the cold food and the 'snotty' member of staff. That's a shame that we haven't met our usual high standards. We always try to maintain our 'game' but as to the Westgate, it's hard for a small, family-run café to compete...More

Sometimes you want to eat a meal on your own and if it tastes excellent and the ambience of a restaurant is just what you want at that moment in time, then nothing like it. Cut to the chase, I hadn't eaten all day, just...More

I went last week with my family on a holiday trip to Oxford and we spent a lovely time in the Jericho cafe, in the genuine part of Jericho, away from the disappointing touristy cafés of the town center. The weather was bitterly cold and...More

Found myself on Walton Street one lunchtime in need of something to eat and stumbled upon the Jericho Cafe. Good selection of food, catering for most tastes and very reasonably priced too.

Thanks so much for your kind review, it makes a big difference to us in a seemingly increasingly unkind world! :-)
