This is a great cafe especially for vegetarians. The food is always delicious, with massive portions and a really relaxed atmosphere inside. The coffee is great and they have a good selection of cakes available.

I Generally like the magic cafe, it is a relief from the overly hip cafe down the road. Today I had a takeaway curry. It was all pretty average with a LOT of rice and not much of the curries. Really grumpy staff!

A vegetarian/vegan menu which changes daily. This is one of my favourite places to go with my toddler - neither of us veggie/vegan but the food is great. As it is all cooked fresh and out on a serving counter there is no waiting; perfect for a fidgety toddler and a hungry Mummy. Plenty of high chairs, toys and books... More

The Magic Cafe is at the heart of what makes East Oxford a wonderful place to live. Atmosphere is friendly - especially for young children. Food is extremely wholesome and excellent value. Wifi is good if you want to work here. Great coffee and cake if that is all you want. Noticeboard to tell you what's on around the area.... More

I went with a friend to The Magic Cafe yesterday, the food was basic but tasty and good value.I would recommend this cafe. It would be good to know if the food is local and organic?

The magic cafe has that 'living room' appeal, making you feel comfortable and cared for from the moment you walk in. It's truly local, with a bulletin board of things to do and goings on around the city, and the food is all freshly prepared and always delicious. Go when you need some tlc!

This is one of my favourite cafes in Oxford. The price and quality of food is extremely good and the coffee is ok. It is not pretentious and over the top like other cafes in the area, and provides a very friendly atmosphere

Always keen to find vegan options in Oxford was keen to visit and try what they had to offer. I found the interiors a little scruffy, tables need a clean and overall it was shabby. My friend had the pasta bake, cold and pretty tasteless to be honest. I had the cake and frankly it had no flavour and the... More

Loved the soup, salads, and veg lasagna. The myriad of flavors was overwhelming. One downside is they can run out of food fairly quickly so get there early. I'm guessing this is a symptom of the quality and demand for the product they are making. I will accept those consequences.

eXcellent Vegan Cafe - Went to Oxford for a day trip and discovered this place. Loved absolutely everything about it. Great atmosphere, alternatively simplistic and fantastic food. Wish you every success Magic Cafe.
