Came on a Saturday evening for dinner. Online they had a vegan option but it was altered on the menu in the pub to have goats cheese in instead. So we asked, and they replied with they'd fix up a main to make it vegan....More

We popped in for a drink and a chat with friends. The service at the bar was good. The white wine was chilled and delightful to drink.

Visited for a gig in the upstairs music room. Lively pub downstairs, two gluten free beers available (Daura Damm and GF Peroni) in bottles (nice to have a choice, even if they're the two of the most commonly stocked variants (along with BrewDog's Vagabond)). As...More

Sat out in the new beer garden - it was fantastic! Probably the best beer garden in Oxford, definitely the best Christmas dinner in Oxford. Of all the staff it's got to be Ian and Jack that have the skills. Will be back. Again and...More

First time back in well over a decade, but the Jericho's still a great pub. While spending the day ambling round the city, it proved a relaxing spot to refresh with beer & bar snacks. Interesting artwork displayed & for sale too.

Great atmosphere and nice welcome. I liked the reservation system where instead of denying passers-by a table, they say on table that it is free until half 2, etc, allowing me to have a drink and a sitdown after my walk along the canal.

Thanks for your response. We like to think that a table is not wasted and the idea for someone to sit and relax until the reserved group arrive is fairly important to us. We hope you enjoyed your walk

Welcome to Oxford's favourite pub.Just outside the old city gates in Oxford's historic suburb, you'll find The Jericho Tavern, a bastion of beautiful beers damn fine pub food and upcoming musical talent - so our learned patrons tell us. There's a touch of The Jericho's bohemian spirit about the pub, which is a hub of activity throughout the week and a favourite with film fans of the nearby Phoenix cinema.
