Myself and 5 friends had a wonderful surprise birthday meal here for 2 of the group. The staff were great, very accommodating and helpful with all of the annoying requests that I had. The food was great and I loved the espresso martini's!! Will definitely be back!

My son took me to the Little Angel and recommended the burger as he's eaten there before. It was delicious! The triple cooked chips and the cheese topping on the fresh and perfectly cooked burger made a great meal. I like a good quality burger but this one was the best I've tasted. The pub was much bigger inside that... More

Having enjoyed many years at the Henley Regatta, we took an early returment and made the move! Because of proximity to the Thames, fine reputation and adequate parking, we came upon the Little Angel...and never left. We/ve heard owner Doug Green was formerly a master chef in London. He truly understands preparing fish to perfection. We order his specialies of... More

We visited The Little Angel as guests at a wedding reception. The food was just superb and the ambiance in general was relaxed and friendly, the pub was charming and there was plenty of parking spaces. We didn't get a chance to see the outside space much, but on a warm and sunny day I imagine it would be lovely.... More

My son and his wife recently held their wedding reception at The Little Angel. What a fantastic place! The food was lovely and the service was outstanding. Lovely surroundings and lots of different areas to circulate in. Everything was so well organised and made for a wonderful day .

After a long walk in beautiful Remenham we booked a table for 10 of us. Service has always been great, beer and bar service brilliant but previously despite a good menu food was average. Today we had lunch and the food was brilliant, 10 clean plates! Well prepared, tasty dishes from calves liver, chicken supreme, steak and burgers. Great sea... More

I am so impressed with The Little Angel that I am writing my first (and probably only) review on Trip Advisor. While the place has mostly got ‘Excellent’ and ‘Very Good’ reviews, many other eating places paradoxically get a wider range of scores, from good to bad. This is largely because managerial, kitchen and waiting staff often turn over rapidly... More

Perfectly nice staff, but had to endlessly wait and ask several times for our order to be taken. Coffee came way before cheese and biscuits and gave up waiting to pay the bill - had to go to the bar. Food OK, small portions.

To caveat, been here a couple of times and food has been great and service good. This time we waited 30 mins for a drink(and had to retrieve them from the bar ourselves), and even longer to order food, despite booking. When it came the food was so yummy as always, and really beautifully presented. The side we ordered don't... More

We visited the restaurant as they had just rolled out the new menu. The waitress was excellent, she knew the menu inside out and was able to make suggestions and was very passionate about the food.

The Little Angel is all things to all people. It is a historic, perfectly placed pub and eating house at the foot of Remenham Lane, just before you go over Henley bridge into Henley on Thames. With a large car park, a reputation for great service, food and ambience, this pub is the busiest in the area and deservedly is on most itineraries of anyone visiting Henley on Thames. From the outside, it looks a quaint little pub but enter its hallowed doorway and you will find the most unique, beautifully designed space, with space being a key word. They can seat over 100 without a problem and can hold private functions for over 350 standing. Weddings, corporate functions, you name it, they can do it. They have a superb, professional and friendly team that can assist with most requests. Food is seasonal, fresh, cooked to order and with quarterly changing A la Carte and daily delicious specials, this pub is patronised all year round for lunch, dinner, drinks at their large and buzzy bar or when weather shows some joy, in their large, patioed garden that looks onto the quintessential Henley Cricket Club playing grounds. Jugs of Pimms, Pitchers of beer sit comfortably alongside ice buckets full of champagne and provence rose. If you haven't been to Henley or to The Little Angel, it is well worth a visit. The historic River Thames is just 100 yards away. Walk to it, from it or drive, as you wish but do GO!
