Since my last visit...they now do soya milk...yippee! One of the best little places about. A selection of vegan cakes & the offer of vegan margarine would be great but veg. chilly & veg. curry is a good offer.

Love this place. Vegetarian breakfast, smashing orange & chocolate scones. Such a pity no soya milk...a terrible over site. Eat inside in smashing comfy café or in the garden. Friendly staff.

Popped in here after it was recommended to us by my hairdresser as we required a treat after having all my hair shaved off for charity. Was a lovely place to sit and have a coffee and a slice of home made cake. Will definitely...More

I come here about once a week for lunch. The food is mostly home made including excellent gluten free cakes. Reasonably priced too. The staff are superb. Don't miss out!

This cafe under new ownership is a very friendly welcoming place. The previous owners were kind and friendly and so are the new ones. This village is a half hour bus trip from Nottingham and certainly benefits from a meeting place like this. The food...More

Now under new management, a genuine, warm welcome was extended by the new owner who took the time to ask our names and to introduce herself. I had a huge jacket potato and an even bigger slice of home-made cake. This is a lovely little...More

We have just visited the Blue Bird Cafe and found it a lovely establishment. We did sit outside (must be mad I know in the middle of Janurary) because we had the bikes. Lovely and clean inside and the staff very welcoming. The man (think...More

Thanks very much for taking the time to review our café and post such complimentary comments - was definitely impressed by you braving yesterday's cold! Our special this week is Mexican beef tortillas - whether suited to this weather is debatable but people are even...More

I made my first visit to this cafe today. The food was prepared promptly and tasted great. Cake was spot on too. As were the prices and the overall customer experience. Definitely a place worth visiting of you are in the area. 5*

A defensive attitude by the owner and her need to make me feel difficult has marred my opinion of this café. I asked for poached eggs " not too runny"; this was repeated by the counter staff to the owner. The egg, quite frankly, had...More

We thank you for taking the time to review your unfortunate visit to us, although it's tone and the conveyed personal dislike of the female owner took us somewhat aback. We then tried to compare, with little success, it's detailed content to our own internal...More
