An early meet with friends and family, ideal place for a large group gathering. Fantastic selection of beers with very helpful and attentive staff.

If you're into your beer and come to Notts. You MUST come to the keans. Great selection of cask, keg, cans and bottles. Also the staff are the extremely knowledgable and generally great.

The Kean's Head in Central Nottingham is not particularly impressive, either from the outside or as you enter the premises. The plain, red brick exterior is brightened up with a selection of hanging baskets and some flower boxes, but otherwise it is pretty unremarkable. As you enter the first impression is of a small industrial space with glazed tiles, cast... More

This is a classic real ale pub situated in the Lace District of Nottingham. Well worth your visit if only to appreciate the wonderful architecture of the area - see if you can find the stone bee! The pub is great, unpretentious and offering a wide range of real ales plus cracking pub grub. We had the pork pies and... More

Possibly the best selection of real ales and ciders, craft gins and malts in Nottingham. Small cosy pub in the Lace market. Enjoyed the huge doorstep ham sandwich, but a little disappointed by the quality of the pork pies. Will definitely be there again when next in Nottingham, but I'll choose something different to eat - and have a driver... More

Popped in here on our way to Broadmarsh bus station on way home from seeing Jack Whitehall on a Saturday night at the Ice arena. Situated right opposite St Mary's Church near the Galleries of Justice just set back from all the hustle and bustle of town life. It's a lovely cosy pub with a big selection of drinks behind... Beer selection is always good, food is great, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the whisky selection is just about the best I've seen in Nottingham. Highly recommended!

Was pleasantly surprised when we called in for a quick drink and ended up staying for two hrs! Vast, vast choices of draft beer, craft beer, gin and whiskey, it really is a little haven

It's small size is both a negative and a positive - you need to visit when the optimum number are there - too many and it can be a crush. But the beer is great - the Castle Rock beer at least. Harvest Pale is reliably good, but I'd recommend Preservation and Elsie Mo. Now, they don't have Elsie on... More

We popped in for Sunday lunch before a visit to the ice hockey. The quality of the food was amazing. It has a small kitchen so the menu is restricted. Time waiting for our meal was longer than the 25 minutes suggested, nearer 45 but it was certainly worth the wait. I had the vegetarian option of Lincolnshire sausages, others... More
