We are always looked after very well by Kath and her team. Nothing is too much trouble. Once again the food was spot on. We are so lucky to have such a good pub in the village. They have expanded the outside areas and the...garden is looking better than ever with plenty of space to shelter from the elements. Keep up the good work.More

We sat in the garden and enjoyed exemplary English pub food in the sunshine. The people were friendly, the pub was well kept and clean and the beer frothed and sparkled like a good'un. All this within a stonesthrow of Northampton. This is a great...pub to visit - as we did - as part of a circular walk from Castle Ashby and out to The River Nene. Many thanksMore

It’s so great to be going out again after Covid. We moved house recently & this was our first visit. We really like their offering at the Royal Oak. It’s a great menu, the food is nicely presented, they look after their beers, the service...is impeccable. They’ve clearly thought about the sort of place they want to be & are carrying out their plan beautifully.More

Recently had a meal at the Royal Oak. Everything was first class. Service, food and the drinks, all were great. Sticking to Covid rules to the letter and even though the restaurant was full, we all felt safe and very comfortable. Would return in a...heartbeat. There were 5 of us and had steaks, the pie, and the vegetarian tart. We'll done to the teamMore

We’ve been having take away meals again in lockdown 2 and they have been faultless. The pies are second to none. Great food and portion sizes. Good local ales as well as their own. Friendly service. We’ve even tried a few things from the daily...deli and as expected the food was superb. We have lived in the village for 18 years and the pub and owners are the best we’ve had.More

If you haven’t been already, you need too. The food is all homemade and delicious. We have visited several times and have never been disappointed. Wish I could put more 🌟 than 5!! Always made so welcome and staff are always very polite and friendly....Personally, I don’t think you will find better food and staff anywhere else in Northampton.. Thanks again Kath and Co xxx 👏👏👏 Barb and JimMore

Exceptional service, incredibly fresh tasty food, good value, clean and good location. The Royal Oak serves food that all pubs should serve. We will definitely be back.

Yes, as I recall it is at the rear of the pub, in the garden.
