A the end of a long days driving not only did the Cock at Roade welcome us but also allowed us to park our large horsebox in their carpark and stay the night. The food and drink were excellent and we were made very welcome. Thank you!

Stayed at the Roade House Hotel which is a sister establishment and ate at the Cock in the evening. Typical pub food menu but nicely cooked and tasty. Very reasonable prices by today's standards.

Great food and friendly service. The steaks on the hot stones were beautifully tender and exceptionally tasty.

Very friendly staff and owner, had a lovely meal, my husband had their sizzling Steak and I had Sizzling Tuna Steak. Loved the way you could finish the cooking on the sizzle plate to your preference. Would recommend it.

Good honest pub grub at good prices. We both had the steak and ale pie with mash. It was nice buttery mash and the pie had plenty of tender meat in a good tasting ale gravy.

Food is available, some items a touch expensive but a range of light snacks are also on offer Friendly attentive staff led... More

This is our local pub and every time we have visited for a meal we have brought along 10/15 friends booked a table and had a lovely hot stone steak. The atmosphere at the bar area is great the locals all talk to you and are friendly. Really good evening in the local we will be back again soon.

Noisy but friendly locals. Good grub. Pass away a boisterous evening with them. No idea what they are laughing at. Maybe me!

My husband ordered the fish , chips and peas, and I ordered the sweet potato, chick pea and spinach curry with rice and a naan. My husband's cod?? was full of bones, and seemed very small and flat for a piece of cod. My curry was quite tasty, but appeared to have been microwaved as some parts were hotter than... More
