We went in to escape the rain and get a much needed cuppa, what a lovely little cafe this us, done out Sherlock Holmes style. The staff were very efficient and really pleasant, I had the best chocolate muffin ever with clotted cream

We stopped in here for a coffee but ended up getting food as well since it looked so lovely. The cafe is so cozy and you are made to feel very welcome. The food tasted as good as it looked and the coffee was amazing!
For good lunch food followed by delicious cake in an atmospheric venue you can't beat this cafe. It can be busy but staff can tell you where seats are - the little snug at the back was a great spot. Be aware that cash only!
