I usually drink here with my friends occasionally over the summer as the seating area outside is really nice! You have to be lucky to get a table when it's sunny outside though as I think everyone has the same idea! It's a nice little pub tucked away on St Benedicts and has character.

The Plough is a fairly small pub close to the city. Its big attraction is the excellent beer from the Grain brewery, a small local producer. It can get crowded but there is a large and very pleasant beer garden out at the back, and even in winter this was a good place to sit for a while.

The Plough is one of two pubs in Norwich owned by the local Grain Brewery. As well as the excellent Grain beers you can enjoy a slice of Vic's award winning sausage and onion pie - a substantial snack. In winter, there is usually a coal fire and its a lovely place on a Sunday lunchtime to read the papers... More

A regular must visit pub on annual trips to Norwich. Very popular, good atmosphere, good beer and friendly staff. If you time it properly sitting in the beer garden is a great way of spending a couple of hours. If you are in Norwich and fancy a beer you can do a lot worse than pop into the Plough. St... More

Nice little boozer with a good range of ales, friendly bar staff and on a fantastic street. This was my first visit and we were wetting my cousin's daughters head, so no doubt we were a little rowdy but they coped well with us.

It all looked so good. An attractive facade with a good reputation. After a family gathering, my brother-in-law and I (who rarely get to see each other) decided on a night cap at The Plough. Not an unusual occurrence. Admittedly, we did enter the pub 15 minutes before closing but, in our defense, we were polite and friendly and we... More

Since discovering the sun trap garden at the back of The Plough, as well as the amazing burgers cooked and served outside.. The Plough is a regular favourite! Perfect for the summer afternoons and Friday post work.

Arrived at The Plough, we asked for a menu and was told sharply there wasn't one...! When my husband asked if they did Burgers as per the trip advisor review the bar maid said yes go outside and you have to pay cash... We did as she said.... The Burger was really good. The clientele however was trashed students and... More

Like that fabulous wardrobe to Narnia, the small corridor at the back of The Plough opens up into a wonderful beer garden. Sadly there are no speaking animals, but the super-tasty Grain Brewery beers will take the edge off that disappointment I'm sure!
