Visited Maggies for the first time after reading reviews on TA and was so glad we did. An amazing selection of high quality traditional breakfast favourites - any way you like them. Accompanied by bottomless tea or coffee ( the coffee is particularly good). If you the welcome and warm of Maggie and her staff it's just like having breakfast... More

Maggie's Cafe is a 'gem'. The food is really good, service and atmosphere 1st class. The 'create your own' breakfast is a joy to behold, unfortunately I would not have been able to finish it on the days I visited, having been out for a family meal the night before. But next time I go to London, that is no.1 on... More

Maggie's is very popular with locals, which tells you all you need to know. The very extensive menu offers quality food at reasonable prices. The service is always very congenial and helpful. Legendary breakfast is served all day. If you're in the area, go there.

Wherever I travel, I know that when I come to London this is home for breakfast. Go for the "Create Your Own Breakfast" option (for under 7 pounds!) and it really is a creation. Choose any (or if you dare all) of fried egg, poached egg, scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, liver, fried onions, chips, hash browns, beans,... More

Having done our research before setting off for Lewisham, thanks to the many positive reviews Maggie's was already on our "to do" list. So so glad we followed through on our intention to visit. After checking in at the hotel we nipped across with friends who had joined us for the day and marvelled at the portions that were being... More

Will all the fancy overpriced breakfast eateries opening in London like the Breakfast Club, its makes a change to visit a good old South London cafe and get a proper fry up for a great price. The staff and atmosphere are great and the breakfast is exactly what you want when you have a cloudy head on a Sat Morning,... More
