I am regular of the restaurant for more than a year or two and have witnessed the change over this period of time. The food is frozen and has little to do with real French food, the French beans are hard to chew and were you to ask for another way to cook them you would be told that this... More

We went to Cafe Rouge at Canary Wharf for a friends birthday. It was a Saturday and was surprisingly quiet. The service was great and the food was really tasty. The cocktails were a little disappointing, but their was a good wine list. We had a gourmet card, so received 25% off of our total bill, including drinks. This was... More

I didn't think you could get a really bad meal in London but unfortunately the Cage Rouge proved me wrong. Went here in a Tuesday night with work colleagues and had one burger and to orders of the Chicken dish. It was so bad that 2 of the party could eat and. The burger which I had was hard, tasteless... We were seated then became completely invisible. The restaurant was almost empty. It was 10 minutes since we were seated but no one came. I called to the waitress and still was still ignored. After waiting further 10 minutes, we decided to leave. The waitress watched us leaving but did not appear to care.

Normally go there for a quick lunch & beer. Good turnover so normally easy to get a seat even at the busy lunch times. Food is good and service is quick, prices very reasonable.

There were lots of tables and it wasn't busy at all at the start of the week. This meant that the service was great and we were well looked after. My partner chose the Croque Madame and I chose the Quiche with Fries. Both were well presented and delivered reasonably quickly. We both chose the Tarte aux Citron for dessert... More

A strange title you might think, however let me explain why I found it difficult to write. My wife and I were staying near to Canary Wharf on Sunday 5th February. We had planned to go to Cafe Rouge as we had a money off voucher and have eaten there before so we knew what to expect. My wife and... More

Weather cold and damp so popped in for cappuccino. Large place, very clean and pleasing to the eye. Lots of choice of all types of drinks, food menu and seating with heaters outside overlooking the water.

I imagine this is busy during the week, but it you want a quiet place for a Sunday lunch, this is just the spot. It's spacious, beautifully decorated, with water views out the windows. The service is very friendly and the food is great.

Thank Clockwinder
