Very good service! Even though we obviously not very knowledgable in meat they guided us in a professional way. The food was exactly as we ordered and the proposed wine was great.

Having eaten at the Richmond Gaucho many times, I knew we wouldn't be disappointed when we walked in here - even without a pre-booked table - for Sunday lunch. I love everything about Gauchos (quality, presentation, atmosphere, service, etc) but I did resent being shown to the bar for 15 minutes while they "made our table ready". It was very... More

We stopped at the restaurant for a business dinner. Atmosphere and service were really good - food was superb. Very well don meat of excellent quality. You pay the price but it was worth it.

Went to Gaucho Piccadilly with some friends. The interior is heavy, in my opinion too heavy, especially with the combination of chandeliers, cow patterned chairs, and mirror walls. When it comes to the dining, it sadly bears the impression of being a restaurant chain that fails in attempting to be a high-end restaurant. We had made reservations in advance and... More

We had searched online and pre booked a table of 6 here for my husbands birthday. Our waitress was so friendly and extremely knowledgable of the menu. The food arrived, apart from my husbands steak! The waitress and I assume, manager, came over to apologise. We were all nearly finished and then my husbands steak appeared. I know these things... More

I have visited a number of the Gaucho restaurants over the course of 2-3 years and I can only conclude that it has gone from having offered an excellent dining experience to one that is way below average. Visited Piccadilly for the first time having been to several others in London (and recently to Gaucho in downtown Dubai). As this... More

Boys lunch for 13, we had a limited menu as we were a private party but choices and food were very good. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. They let us get on with it without any problems and after lunch we enjoyed the outside terrace for a few more drinks - recommended as a great room for a party.

Went to the gaucho for a meal for my daughters meal From the minute we walked up the restaurant when a member of staff opened the door for to the minute we walked out we could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Exciting and vibrant atmosphere and great food. We really enjoyed the meal but not the place for a quiet conversation as the music is quite loud. Really enjoyed lovely cocktails after the meal on the upper floor with the roof closed as it was a little chilly. Disappointed that we ended up unknowingly paying just under £12 for three bottles... Description
In a prime location off Regent Street, Gaucho Piccadilly is an upmarket Argentinean steakhouse housed in the old wine cellars of the Mexican ambassador. The vaulted restaurant is decked out in cowhide, a knowing nod to the chunky menu full of cuts of luxury steak, including the tender Bife de Lomo, aged for six to eight weeks and then flown in from Buenos Aires. Large selection of Argentine wines, bar and late-night supper lounge.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
