The restaurant makes you feel very comfortable by the warm atmosphere.Trendy, live cooking, nice music, friendly and correct staff. Then the dishes will blow your senses. How tender do you want your lambchops.....chicken.....beef......Really cooked to perfection and I'm not quite sure if it comes because of it's all halal meat but the taste and texture are soo beautifull and delicious!finish your... We visited this restaurant for dinner . At first we thought its a traditional Indian restaurant but then the waiter told us that its an Indian Grill restaurant. the food was tasting but the only problem is that its very expensive. One medium grilled shrimp costs around 10$ each.

Having read about the excellent Indian food this place dishes out, my wife and I wanted to sample them. We liked the location of the restaurant; tucked away in an arcade around the corner of a hotel. We opted to dine near the bar even though we had reserved a table in the dining room. The service was lovely, with... More

First off, the ambiance in the restaurant is fantastic. Dimly lit, bit of music in the background - really nice for a date. This unfortunately is not matched by the quality of the food. I thoroughly enjoy Indian food but I just do not think that the food at Amaya is not up to scratch. We ordered chicken biryani and... More

Went for a family birthday and had a sublime meal. Beautiful decor and excellent service. Immaculate tables, sensational cocktails and grease free Indian tapas. Try the lamb chops, enjoy the tandoori meats and the sausages especially. Even the salad had plenty of kick! This place is for sharing so don't go in a two, you need four people plus! Be... More

I personally like the Kerala Briyani and stir fry baby corn. The place offers a good place for dinner ambience and lot of wines choices. Staffs are helpful to explain us how the order works. Quite pricey but it comes with the quality.

It's a lovely walk to this restaurant. The interior is lovely. The lighting compliments everyone. The staff could not be more warm and accomdating. The food though is the main draw. It is sumptuous. Very favor full, beautifully presented and each bite is a little journey to India. The sea bass rates among the best fish that I have ever... More

A friend of mine took me in this elegant and refined restaurant. Food is really good and recipes are well selected. A decent wine list and some very delicious cocktails complete the assets of a consistent Indian treasure in the heart of London. It's very recommended to reserve a table :-)

Lamb curry was as tasteless as water Served lamb chops which were uncooked and the masala still raw The Staff handled our disappointment very graciously but this does not disguise the fact that the restaurant is no longer what it was at least 2 years ago.

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
