I recently went back to Andrew Edmunds, after a 20-year break, and was delighted to discover that it's still wonderful. It's still cosy and romantic, with Soho charm and character, handwritten menus and tasty food. Weekday lunch was potted shrimps followed by kippers with mash...More

Had seen lots of recommendations for this spot, and made reservations about 30 days out by calling in. They were very accommodating and took out evening theatre plans into account. Pleasant, professional staff, attentive, yet not overly intrusive. Cozy, candlelit setting with old London prints...More

Visited for Saturday lunch - despite advising both when reserving and ordering my partner’s lactose intolerance she was served a dish containing creme fraiche. Waiters were complacent and apologised in a half-hearted manner. No gesture was made to atone for the error. A ruined Saturday...More

We visited today with our dog who was welcomed with lots of fuss and a bowl of water. Loved the food. The restaurant is proud of its wine list but lacks a range of soft drinks for those who dont imbide. Although we were ample...More

Bookings will only be taken from 30 days prior to your visit - visitors to London take note. Unprepossessing, old school look from the street approach ... interior is tight, tables are close - which is fine unless the couple beside you decides to linger...More

What a great place this is although near tourist areas I normally go for business. The pork chop was excellent. As usual service very good. Had a very nice bottle of red well priced as well. Be back soon.

Quirky place. Grouse was very tasty. But the key point is grand cru wine at 1999 price. Will be back

The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho
hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a

I would recommend downstairs just because guests arriving and leaving pass through the tables upstairs and therefore feels less intimate.

Established 1986, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18thc. town house has, for almost thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity.
