Lovely, informal Chinese restaurant. I have just enjoyed one of the best duck dishes I have ever eaten, along with scallops in shell, and the most wonderful pair of lobsters. Did not have chance to try a sweet course, as I was simply too full. Just how I like it. There was a great hubbub of satisfied diners and the... More

I've been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember. The quality of food has never dropped. The service is great. In a great location. If you are looking for traditional Chinese cuisine they will have it here. One of the best Chinese restaurants around the London area

We came in late on the off chance that they were still serving food, which they were at 10.30pm - other places had closed for the night. We quickly ordered our food and it was on our table within 10 minutes. The food was delicious and flavourful and the service was friendly. We left within the hour full and happy.

We have visited this restaurant on a few occasions and have loved it! They serve great Chinese food that's at a very high quality. It does get quite busy. Staff are friendly and the service is fast. We will definitely return here soon!

We used to go to China town in london for crispy duck, however the last experience was terrible. Surprisingly we discovered a great restaurant in Bayswater. I have to admit it is much better than Chinatown's!! Crispy duck is amasing!! And it is much cheaper than in westend. Staff is very friendly and quick!! Since my discovery we have been... More

Our first day in London after over 20 years! WOW.... My friend took us to this place so that they too could enjoy some Chinese food! It was good and we tried many dishes. They serve traditional Chinese food. Even though you will see some meat on the table, it was shared between our friends since we don't eat meat... More

Went with friends - this is a well known classic place for many years. My friend always go there every time comes to London. It is also very famous among all the Chinese community. Highly recommend their roast duck and roast pork - must try!

Pre-booking necessary especially on Friday evening. The restaurant has a ground floor for casual diners and first floor for larger groups with round table. Decoration kept to aminimum and functional. Toilets are in the basement so not really disabled friendly. Great food especially the peking duck with pancakes and delicious vegetables. Very good service. Restaurant was fairly busy. Will certainly... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
