For a restaurant associated with Hakkasan that I have the highest respect for - underwhelmed. The food was ok - certainly not spectacular. The lunch menu was too limited. We ordered one bento box - quality was dismal on the raw fish. The sashimi I...More

We booked the £35 five course fixed menu through Bookatable; the menu was well balanced and beautifully presented, the service was professional but personalised and the ambience was light, calm and relaxing. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes in this restaurant, which...More

This was our first visit and we found Sake No Hana to be offering a higher standard of cuisine and service than we had anticipated. Each of our 5 courses was excellent, flavour, appearance and variety were all exemplary - Japanese fine dining at its...More

This restaurant is a favourite of ours especially with the early evening menu of 5 courses and a glass of prosecco for 31 pounds. The service is excellent and the sushi is nice and freshly prepared. You can watch the chefs at work preparing the...More

Lobster sashimi turned out to be crayfish. I've had high hopes of this restaurant as I'm a big fan of Hakkasan and Alan Yau's other collections. But this is close to misselling. To be fair the raw 'lobster' dish only costs 30 quid which is...More

Good food, good service, but rude hostess. They forced us to leave to get the table back from us before even finishing serving us. They only served us 2 dishes and assumed we were already done before serving the main or dessert. I understand that...More

Description
Sake no Hana bar and restaurant is housed on the first floor of a modernist Grade II listed building in the heart of St James, offering modern Japanese dining. The a la carte menu provides a variety of hot and cold appetisers, charcoal grill, Toban and Kamameshi dishes, while sushi and sashimi are... prepared to order at the 13 seat sushi bar. A carefully selected list of sakes, Japanese whiskeys and other wines, spirits and liqueurs complement the dishes offered in the restaurant. Sake no Hana's interiors were designed my esteemed architect Kengo Kuma and the bar includes a beautiful futuristic chandelier, offering the perfect space for post work cocktails. The bar is also a beautiful space for private parties of up to 60 guests for a standing canape event, or can host up to 25 guests seated for an exclusive private dining experience. Monday to Thursday, 12pm - 2.45pm, 6pm - 11pm; Friday, 12pm - 2.45pm, 6pm - 11.30pm, Saturday 12pm - 4pm, 6pm - 11.30pm
