Awful, awful, awful!!! This place is ridiculously expensive - a bowl of lettuce for nearly £13! A tiny sandwich for £7! A teeny burrito for £10! So, so bad. We left starving and poor. Just a terrible tourist trap, like what everyone else has said, and very mediocre food and service. Definitely will not be going here again and definitely... More

Saturday lunch: We waited to order 40', the waiter (only one) was walking around without any sense. When we asked to order he answered "I'm coming". Then, he passed in front of us other 3 times without giving us any consideration. We decided to leave and had an amazing lunch at the resturant on the other side of the street.... More

Had the full English breakfast. Nothing to shout about for the price but the Wi-Fi is great. Probably better just for drinks. Atmosphere is decent.

It was a great experience. Very close to our hotel, it was our dinner location after a long day of walking! Food and beer are very good!

Had to wait for a very simple meal for about 50 minutes, establishment not busy at time of order. One plate of chips were cold and one of the burgers was very burnt and charred.

Serves a wide range of beers, cask ales are from Greene King, wich are not good for the quality! But they have much more to offer to, keg beers and lagers on tap. Food is a bit boring, but if you like old fashioned pub grub like they served back in the old days, then you will be positively surprised... More

Bayswater was a stone's throw from where we were staying, so just happened to wander in. Food was average, nothing to get excited about. Staff was a little slow, and it wasn't because they were understaffed or busy. It just seemed like they didn't care if you were there or not. Walked past it for a few more days, and... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
