I don't visit London often but tea and a cake at Fortnums is always one of my treats - but NEVER again. The Parlour was where I was directed by sales staff, what a let down it proved to be. Formica topped tables, placed so...More

We went to the Fortnums Parlour yesterday and what a treat!! We had a knickerbocker glory and a mulled wine ice cream which were both amazing & probably the BEST hot chocolates with marshmallows we have ever had. We're already talking about when we can...More

Why can’t restaurants and cafes learn to serve tea properly? We’re apparently known as a nation of tea lovers, but our restaurants and cafes insist on serving it up without any thought for quality. Whilst this is definetly up there on the bit silly #firstworldproblem...More

Undoubtedly the attraction of this place is that it's in F&M so feels special. Brunch was priced accordingly - £15 for coffee and eggs. Both were cold and uninspiring so I won't be back. The mini ice-cream which came with the coffee and the table...More

They can even make an occasion out of a gin and tonic. This fact speaks for itself. And just wait when they bring you coffee with a tiny cone of ice-cream 😊

We were very disappointed on our recent visit to the Parlour at Fortnum & Mason’s. As we weren’t particularly hungry, we decided that we would just plump for a sundae and an ice cream, accompanied with one hot and one cold beverage. My wife chose...More

Loving the new make your own sundae option. Our teenage guest really enjoyed her creation. Apple strudel was very tasty and others enjoyed their dainty scones. Loved we mini cones that arrived with our drinks. Yes it's pricey but nice to do once in a...More

I'm so glad I ate here. I got "Fortnum's Favourites" which is like a cream tea with a savory and a dessert thrown into the mix. Or, another way of putting it, a smaller & limited Afternoon Tea. Early in my London planning, I'd crossed...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed
thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of
London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic
streets will reveal that Michelin stars and
chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even

You gotta be joking - dress code at The Parlour - a kitchen table with place mats and most uncomfortable chairs - and nothing special at all about the place. Maybe there was, once upon a long time ago - not in the present

I don't think that they do a classic afternoon tea in The Gallery, but the Afternoon Menu does have something called Piccadilly Tea. Take a look at their website - unfortunately you cannot post links!
