This restaurant is an absolute gem of a place to eat. The atmosphere is electric and the decoration and attention to detail is spectacular. The service is very good as well as the drinks. The desert is also good. I recommend the chocolate brownie. Best of all had to be the fresh mint tea. It's beautifully sweet and is poured... More

This place as an amazing interior design that gives you that middle-eastern warm feeling. However, the way the place gets managed is terrible. Ten of us arrived at 18:00 pm for an early dinner. The place was empty so it wasn't a problem to get a table. When we got in, the manager received us with an unprofessional and unfriendly... More

The place was packed on evening of good Friday but that meant service wasn't great. Took ages to order and was hard to get attention of staff to order drinks. Belly dancing was great again.

If you work in the Square mile and are looking for a place which combines Drinks, Entertainment and good quality Lebanese food in the vicinity, this is a place that should make it to the list. With its proximity to the Liverpool Street and Bank tube, the range of drinks and meat here are quite varied. And the belly dance... More

Loved the food, atmosphere and the belly dancing. Virgin cocktails were lovely but you don't get a lot, mostly ice. Tried the traditional desserts but it's not for me. I would definitely go there again and would like to sit in the booths, they look cosy.

Visited last night with two friends. The decor was charming and inviting. One was immediately transported to the middle east, to welcoming and exotic place. We loved all the food. The mezze was on point. Especially the grilled halloumi, Tabbouleh, batata harra, and charcoal grilled chicken. We were so full on the mezze when we were served our lamb tagine we... More

The moment we entered the place we felt that we were in a capsule that took us straight to Morocco or Lebanon. The atmosphere is well crafted. However, 10 minutes after we just wanted to leave! Music was so loud that we couldn't listen to ourselves, waiters were rude to us several times and even mistook our orders. At some... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
