I can't understand why it wasn't busier, though I suppose it was fairly late on a Monday night. Our food was excellent, very high quality, and the service was friendly and quick. Prices were reasonable too.

Very bland and bare room led to a less than average dinner, slowly served by charmless staff. Dishes were not brilliantly executed or authentic, but prices were.

We happened to walk past Hazuki on the way to our hotel and to be honest it looked a little run down but the sign on the door said they would be open for dinner so we thought we would try later. After a day sightseeing we popped round and found a very quiet but definitely open restaurant. We opted... More

A great place for authentic Japanese food before heading to the theatre. We shared a sushi and sashimi platter, then shared gyozas and chicken yakitori. All delicious. We needed quick service and the staff really tried hard to get us done in time for our show. Recommend! We'll be back.

Disappointed ... bento box ok but the tempura batter on vegetables and prawns was pale and bland and not very crisp. Miso soup fine. As usual enjoyed a Kirin beer.

I've been visiting Hazuki for years and it never disappoints. I think the food actually gets better! No frills and not too polished but fantastic Japanese food and a break from all of the chains in the area.

Very slightly shabby looking, but don't be mislead. This is a good Japanese in an odd spaced restaurant, with a gallery upstairs and small space down. All dishes excellent and not as expensive as many others of this type. Spicy aubergine my favourite. Family run by staff that try hard. I cannot understand why it is not busier.

We went on a Friday night and there was only one waitress. We were ignored for about 20 minutes, then we ordered drinks and food. The drinks didn't come for ages and arrived after I complained once or twice about it. We got annoyed that the food still hadn't arrived 50 minutes/1 hour after our arrival. I asked when it... More

Looking a Japanese restaurant near the National Gallery we stumbled onto these little place. As we had gone in very early, the place was slightly cold, however, the heating was quickly turned up. It's a small place but food was good and service friendly.
