Excellently cooked and presented. Service excellent. Informal vibe with a great choice of wines. All rounder of a place!

We just popped into St John for a quick snack and were lucky enough to get a table. Everything about the place - service, environment, food and drink - was excellent. We had a couple of the 'specials' - slices of venison and smoked sprats...More
The place is very tidy and clean in designs, and everything seems simple and warm. The food is great, very tasty and complex, using every part of the animals and cooking them with respect and simplicity. The menu changes quite regularly and has always special...More

Definitely my fav place in London to eat. Visited in December for a festive dinner out with my boyfriend. The waitress was helpful and attentive in helping us to choose a wine and recommending how many dishes to order. Food was simple and delicious, well...More
The reservation policy puzzled me a little. There did not seem a lot of choice of times, yet while we were there plenty of walk ins were accepted. The food was good - perhaps not as a adventurous as I remember (its a few years...More
