Went before new years so the whole china town was very busy. There was a long queue outside the restaurant. Had shrimp egg fried rice and teh tarik, the rice portion was huge and tasted and smelled wonderful. The tea was ok.

This place is highly recommended if you are have cravings for Malaysian food. From Laksa to Hainanese Chicken Rice to Nasi Lemak, the portion is generous and you will never be disappointed with the taste and services rendered. Unlike many eating establishments in London Chinatown, the servers in this cafe is very polite and very efficient too. This is definitely... More

If you want the best tasting Laska available on this island we live on this is the place to eat it, a great big bowl of flavours and textures. It is a cafe atmosphere, you are literally there for the offerings not the ambience or to be looked after over your dinner. You will not be disappointed......

Pros: The restaurant can accommodate from one person to groups of 12 or so, maybe even more. Extensive menu of options, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Servers are ready to take orders from you within minutes of you sitting down. Food comes out quickly. Our tour guide said they use a lot of organic produce. Cons: Tiny place, you may have to... We ate here before a trip to the theatre on the recommendation of Jay Raynor as he's usually spot on! And he was again. I had the Laksa, as recommended, and the better half had the Rendang, which he loves. It's a real backstreet chinatown fast food place. If you're looking for silver service, ambiance and glitz this ain't the... More

We went here yesterday before going to the theatre and the food was excellent, it was tasty and fresh. The food came quickly and hot and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

Visited for a pre theatre meal. Delightful location on a backstreet in Soho, although a little cramped inside. I ordered a Nasi Goreng and was disappointed by the lack of taste. Yes the dish was spicy but came with too much rice and not enough flavour. Quite an average meal. My friends meal unfortunately was no better. Service was fast... More

Had seen this place was popular so gave it a try after visit to theatre. Friendly welcome and service and very good food. Basic décor. Not a place for a romantic meal but a good place to know about if you are hungry in theatre land.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
