This was the 2nd time we had visited (last time for Sunday roast) and this time on a Thursday evening (pre theatre). The portions are HUGE, so share if you are not big eaters. The chops are amazing and try the garlic marrow paste -...it’s dirty but lovely! Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommended and we will return.More

Been wanting to visit for a long time. Arrived late on and it had a late in the day vibe, chefs leaving during service. The flavours of the food fantastic, we had a miscook on our sharing steak which they tried to rectify but it...was dead. Spoke to the manager who could not have been more accommodating. Did us a few chops with fresh fries and it was stunning, this was the standard I had heard so much about. The restaurant was interested in one thing only and that is ensuring guests leave happy and we were ecstatic BravoMore

Food that makes you smile, that’s what I had today. I had the All In Sunday roast shared with my wife and it was absolutely delicious. Beautiful thick slices of perfectly cooked meat, accompanied by a Yorkshire pudding that was almost as good as mine...(sorry, couldn’t resist) and roast potatoes and veg. The gravy was perfect too. A carafe of wine to accompany topped it off. The waitress was really helpful and very attentive. Our prime reason for visiting London was to eat here and we are so glad we did.More

I’ve cooked and eaten a lot of steaks. The porterhouse at Blacklock was the best I’ve ever had. This was the first time I’ve had gravy with a steak and now that’s all I’ll ever want with one. How can gravy be this good? I’m...not sure I can eat steak anywhere else ever again. The chips were out of this world good too. And the vanilla cheesecake for dessert? All-in a spiritual experience for the large appetite meat-lover that I am. And the service was fantastic - friendly staff, just the right level of attentiveness, and they knew all about the food they were serving. Can’t wait to go back. Well done Team Blacklock. Don’t change anything!More

Unbelievable value for money, we ate so well with starters, main steaks, sides, shared the cheesecake and had 3 cocktails each and our bill came to £68 each. Might just be the best value for money in London, the quality is superb and the food...is all phenomenal.More

Found this restaurant having searched for a mid-priced, highly rated eatery. This restaurant can be found through a doorway and down into a basement. Its fairly small but well laid out with clean facilities and comfortable tables. The waiting staff are superb and attentive, nothing...was too much hassle. We ordered the "All In" which was very tasty. Only tiny gripe was the side dishes are on the small side but we just ordered a couple more as they were delicious! Only one dessert on offer, not sure if that is "thing" usually, but again it didn't disappoint, white chocolate cheesecake was by far the best I've ever had!! It was served out of the dish it was made in, so you could see it was homemade. There are vegetarian options on the menu for mains and I did notice a lady was given something else as dessert, possibly a vegetarian ice cream..? The menu was very reasonably priced and the drinks menu has £5 cocktails! These were full strength with no corners cut for such a reasonable price. Would highly recommend this lovely little restaurant.More

Visit London few times a year. Always try something different. But this place is simply a cut above. The whole experience was exceptional. From arriving, the drinks and quite simply the best meal we have had in a very very long time. The service was...perfect, not intrusive, but warm friendly and so knowledgable. Thanks again, was truly a great feed.... And for the first time, we will return to the same London resturant!!!More

My husband and I had reserved a table here off the back of a recommendation for a rare break away from the kids. The food was exemplary and the service second to none. Sadly we had already paid our tip when the waiter dashed down...the road to return a forgotten (but rather special) umbrella to us - a thank you felt scant reward for such attentive service. We will be back for another Porterhouse as soon as we can.More

So we had a late reservation on the 4th of June and we had Kelly aka redhead aka Ariel (she told me to write this) had a chat with us before we got seated and were served amazingly by Ami. My friend does not like...anchovies and Ami took great care and attention to take care of the pre chop bites to not include anchovies on my friends portion! Ami was so warm funny and charming! Then for dessert Kelly served us family style and we had a great time thanks to these fantastic ladies. By the end of the night we were the last ones in the restaurant! Kelly and Ami are amazingly warm people and are an asset to anybody's team. Reviews a bit late but we shall see you guys soon, thanks for the great evening, fantastic food and amazing conversation. All the best Raj and JoMore

Yes, but the other food looks excellent, and if it is prepared to the standard of the Sunday Roast, you will enjoy it!
