Managed to get a table after being on the wait list for Sunday lunch. Had a choice of 2 tables and chose the best table in the place, secluded and under the light well. Started off with a lovely tall cocktail and of course ordered...the roast beef. The size of it!! So generous with the portions and offered extra gravy which we didn't hesitate to get as we needed the extra to dip the giant Yorkshire pud in!! Enjoyed a lovely red with the meal, recommended by our awesome waiter, Hayden and then finished with a prosecco cocktail! Best boozy roast lunch ever! Will definitely be back! Thank you for looking after us so well, and serving the best roast ever!More

We went for a Sunday roast to celebrate my birthday and had a fabulous visit. The food was delicious - huge portions although we somehow managed to finish it! The gravy deserves its own mention. Really friendly service (thanks Holly!). Delicious cocktails. We left totally...stuffed with a smile on our faces. Probably the best Sunday roast in Central London.More

A truly resplendent meal. Proper Yorkshire pudding, plenty of meat, enough roast potatoes and gray - Not "jus" but a superb gravy. All for a reasonable price

Visited on the back of a few excellent reviews and a food YouTube blog. And it lives up to the very high reputation. We did not book in advance. The place was super busy. Wednesday early evening in June. Lady took my number and rang...me back in 10 minutes having found us a table. Service excellent excellent excellent. It’s the kind of service as of all have shares in the place. Caring, attentive, super friendly with banter. Abs on to the menu. The waitress explained everything although it’s quite simply really. We had the mix of chops which for a party of big eaters left us totally full. They are very proud of their meat and rightly so. Pork, Lamb and Beef beautifully done medium rare. Great selection of drinks including £5 cocktail menu. A supper big cheesecake dessert (no room this time). Will 100% be back for the very famous Sunday roast. Great find, believe the hype and book in advance! You ain’t all lucky like me!More

I normally don't get a roast late in the day as food can be dry and cold, but this was exceptional, especially the yorkshire pudding. Would definitely return, but my only two complaints are 1. The £5 should still fill the glass otherwise it looks...like you're being cheap - just fill the glass or charge more. 2. Giving only two slices of roast beef on a roast dinner again feels stingy. The meat is good, but only giving two sliced left both my partner and I feeling shortchanged. We asked for me, but shouldn't have to.More

During lockdown we have had quite a few cook at home boxes and delivered Sunday lunches... however may i say none as tasty as Blacklock! Great value for money and we were totally stuffed, had to have desert the next day! The lamb was so...tender and the roasties beautifully crispy! It was fabulous value for money too, especially including delivery - a lot of companies charge ridiculous costs for delivery but this was just £3, and we are not local! I would highly recommendMore

My partner and I had been wanting to visit Blacklock for the famous Sunday Roast for months but it was booked up (until Feb!) so we decided to go last night for her birthday and it was definitely worth the wait. The service, food and...cocktails were outstanding! We never really write reviews but the service was SO good we felt we had to and here’s why; - From the time of the booking the staff were so kind and made suggestions to make my partners birthday experience even more special. - When we arrived my partner was waiting for a call from her GP and Holly offered to bring us a cocktail up to the seated area where there was better signal (above and beyond) - Our server Aga was warm, friendly, knowledgable, patient and really made our evening fun. There were time restrictions with Covid but she ensured we were well informed and made some excellent suggestions for us. We never felt rushed. - Although we didn’t meet the chefs personally a big hats off to them too. The lamb chops, pork chops and prime rib (700g is plenty for two people sharing) and ALL the sides were yum. Oh and the white chocolate dessert: exceptional... (Basically everything on the menu) - Cocktails were delicious (£5!) and really well presented so thank you bar staff also. We paid £140 (inc service) for the both of us and ate and drank pretty much everything on the menu (it was a birthday after all) but you could easily spend half that and still have a wonderful time. I write this as we have been to restaurants recently and paid that just for the wine and it has been nowhere near as good as this place. Hats off to all the staff there who made our evening so special and in particular Holly & Aga. Because of you both we will certainly be returning and would highly recommend Blacklock to anyone. Thanks again guys and have a wonderful Xmas ❤️More

Yes, but the other food looks excellent, and if it is prepared to the standard of the Sunday Roast, you will enjoy it!
