Where to start? We could not have been more disappointed. We booked this restaurant in which to meet up with family from Dublin. I chose it from the website which masquerades as a Michelin star restaurant. The impression it gives from it's extensive preamble about...More

Beautiful restaurant, very plush. Friendly staff and good service. We had the pre theatre menu at £28 each. The food was lovely, but quite small portions and I think we would have been hungry if we hadn’t had bread. The cheapest wine was £32. The...More

We had quite a few meals here from breakfast to high tea to dinner. All exceptional. The high tea had some of the best selections of any we've had in high end hotels.

This is an excellent venue for meals around a visit to the Albert Hall, and the setting is lovely, with cosy curtains and slightly retro decor. The risotto and duck parfait with brioche were delicious, but the oignon tarte Tatin a bit small with insufficient...More

This is a very well known , upscale restaurant on Queens Gate. Reservations are a must as the chef seems to be quite famous for his books , menus and TV shows. Regardless , the leek and potato soup was salty and watery. A disappointment...More

We had a lovely delicious pré-theatre-menu for only £ 30 p/p. But the bill for us was £ 57,5 p/p, because we discovered a price of £ 14 for one glass of white wine (Chardonay). It would have been kinder if the personel had told...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
