Friendly from the start. The server, regrettably I didn't get her name was attentive and friendly. Went out of her way to ask about my allergy and change the toast for me. Food was good and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Found this place by accident and set down to a cheese burger , bacon and fries which was excellent. Slightly more than I would normally pay for lunch but considering the location and quality of food and service would highly recommend this place.

The restaurant itself is really cool. The style and interiors bring you back to a different era. It's a very trendy a hip place there's no getting away from that. However, the service was below par. Unfortunately we had a waitress didn't deliver. Drinks were ordered that never came. Some starters came out with mains and we were not once... More

Went here with my wife and 2 friends also with a baby in a pram. The staff were very helpful regarding the pram, putting us at the rear of the Diner so that we didn't have to move the pram continuously. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fine, I particularly liked the chilli dog. One problem... More

We kept coming back. Even if we went somewhere else for dinner we would come back for desert and drinks. Great atmosphere. Must go!

Very cool place at the end of the Portobello Road market - part of the Electric Cinema. Amazing Avocado on toast - just delicious. Great atmosphere - would highly recommend

Let me just say I used to come here loads when it was The Electric Brasserie and loved it, not so much now it's the Diner. My partner and I stopped by for a late lunch, the food was just OK, nothing to shout about, my green bean salad was woefully underseasoned and the tomatoes had that horrible woolly texture... More

Let's start by saying that the food was delicious. We came on a busy Saturday afternoon and once the food arrived it was not lacking in flavor or presentation, despite it being a very packed diner: so 5 stars to the kitchen staff! It's a cool spot- trendy diner with a separate cinema room towards the back that plays movies... More

Enjoyed lunch here with my partner on a Saturday afternoon. Very busy but the staff were still attentive and engaging. Simple menu using good ingredients what's not to like? Yes its a little expensive but is competitive with other places nearby. Try the cocktails they're very good.

I took the family for Sunday breakfast yesterday at the Electric. The highlight was the cheery greeting on arrival but that was it. The service was not up to any standard. 10 minute wait for a menu, food arrived before the coffee, couldn't get anyone to take notice to get the bill, could not get anyone's attention to finally pay... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
