Hidden tapas restaurant between the Sheraton and Hilton at Park Lane. Good service, tasty spanish dishes and excellent wine! Muga! We loved the pata negra!

Had a lovely time in this quite quaint place, located just off Piccadilly. Great food & drinks, that you would expect in a traditional tapas restaurant. The guys serving were running around a bit in "mañana-mode" and we had to ask for some things twice...More

This is a great buzzy, busy, friendly restaurant and probably the best value in Mayfair, which is generally extremely overpriced

Central London is blessed with plenty of very good tapas restaurants, and having eaten in many of them I thought El Pirata in Mayfair to be pretty average at best. The staff were very welcoming and the place was busy, so had a good buzz....More

if you never have before Spanish tapas this restaurant could cope with your expectation. But, if you have been in Spain before and you would like to repeat flavors. This place is not really good for that.

Each dish ranges from £5-£8. If you order 5-6 dishes per couple, you would spend approx £40-£50 excluding drink i.e.£20-£25 pp.Better select ala carte than set menu.since there is a god range to select from.

Description
Critically acclaimed Spanish tapas restaurant El Pirata opened its doors in 1994. Tucked away in the corner of Mayfair next to Hyde Park, El Pirata has become a firm favourite for those wanting an authentic Spanish experience. Relax at the superb mirrored bar with a drink or two whilst enjoying the atmosphere of the Spanish influenced decor. Whether upstairs or downstairs, you can enjoy the Tapas menu where each dish is individually priced, or if you’re not too familiar with Tapas, choose from our two fantastic set menus. At lunchtimes enjoy our special lunch menu which offers great value; two tapas dishes, a bread roll and alioli plus a soft drink or a glass of wine for just £10.25 – great value! Downstairs is ideal for parties and gatherings of up to 60 people. If you prefer a private area for either that important business dinner or a more romantic setting for that more intimate meal, you will find our two private alcoves perfect. When the weather’s at its best, our four outside tables are an instant hit, but you’ll have to be early because they are snapped up fast!
