Small and packed tapas / restaurant. Good list of wines. Very tasty tapas however choice quite limited. Padron are my favourite. Tapas in London not spanish size (large). Nice and open staff especially behind the bar. Attractive location.

El Pirata, what an incredible find! Having read online reviews of this Spanish restaurant we took a chance and turned up early Friday evening without a booking. No problem, shown immediately to a table by a very genial waiter. Uncertain what to expect of a...More

Always flexible when you are not sure on numbers - a true reflection of a Spanish Tapas bar. Kidneys in red wine are sensational, along with the the Pil Pil Gambas. There seems to be unlimited bread and garlic mayonnaise. We had a bottle of...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed
thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of
London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic
streets will reveal that Michelin stars and
chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even

Each dish ranges from £5-£8. If you order 5-6 dishes per couple, you would spend approx £40-£50 excluding drink i.e.£20-£25 pp.Better select ala carte than set menu.since there is a god range to select from.

Critically acclaimed Spanish tapas restaurant El Pirata opened its doors in 1994. Tucked away in the corner of Mayfair next to Hyde Park, El Pirata has become a firm favourite for those wanting an authentic Spanish experience. Relax at the superb mirrored bar with a drink or two whilst enjoying the atmosphere of the Spanish influenced decor. Whether upstairs or downstairs, you can enjoy the Tapas menu where each dish is individually priced, or if you’re not too familiar with Tapas, choose from our two fantastic set menus. At lunchtimes enjoy our special lunch menu which offers great value; two tapas dishes, a bread roll and alioli plus a soft drink or a glass of wine for just £10.25 – great value! Downstairs is ideal for parties and gatherings of up to 60 people. If you prefer a private area for either that important business dinner or a more romantic setting for that more intimate meal, you will find our two private alcoves perfect. When the weather’s at its best, our four outside tables are an instant hit, but you’ll have to be early because they are snapped up fast!
