The food here is fantastic. Innovative and delicious. But, the staff are rude, and they charged us a Cover Charge...! This is in addition to the Service Charge. When I asked they said this was the charge for making the reservation. Not good.

I spent a delightful lunch with 2 Scottish Lawyers who were both engaging and delightful. I thought this restaurant was expensive and the portions were small. My Pork Belly was about 2 inches square. The whole atmosphere look a bit stale.

This was once a great restaurant, dined here 4 years ago and remember a standout meal, summer on a plate. Sadly the last two times we visited disappointment; overpriced, overcooked food. The wonderful Asian fusion cuisine absent.

Visited this restaurant for lunch to celebrate a family Birthday. The food and wine are fantastic, but the downstairs Tapa Room lacks atmosphere. There was no music, service wasn't particularly friendly and the tables are far to close together meaning even the waiters struggle to pour wine or get around the table without elbows in faces.

First up the coffee was terrible and as a place that discusses what coffee it uses and its roaster on the menu that is poor. Food wise I had the chorizo, miso sweet potato hash and poached egg brunch. For me, it was a miss: too sweet and rich for brunch. I think this Aussie/NZ style food is on the... More

Enjoyed a delightful first visit to this restaurant recently for a business lunch. The menu is small (Just right!) but amazingly varied with delicious food. It was difficult to choose in fact. I had the Laksa followed by beef pesto, both utterly delicious, accompanied by the wonderful 2014 Neudorf, Sauvignon Blanc, Waimea Plains, Nelson - a heavenly pairing. Apologies if... More

Went there for lunch on a Saturday. It was very busy but just a few minutes waiting. It was a bit crowded and if you are a tall person and sitting at the high tables in the middle of the dining room, expect people bumping into you from time to time. It didn't bother me at all though. Food was... More

We stopped in here for breakfast, without knowing about the fine reputation of the chef. What a delightful surprise. We ordered the Turkish Eggs, granola with fruit, and avocado toast. Everything was outstanding, including the friendly service and the beautiful cafe area.

Called and booked for a table for 12 two weeks before my birthday. Arranged and organised efficiently by staff. Had our own girl looking after us- and drinks and food were served quickly- Efficiently and with full flavour. Loved the Turkish eggs. Thanks for making it such an amazing birthday! Will return

I go there quite often but it never disappoints ! i've tried several of the dishes in the menu and they're all exceptional ! make a reservation as it's hard to get a table , and make room to enjoy their mixed desert selection with a glass of bubbly .

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
