The food is amazing and the price isn’t bad either. The surroundings are basic at best, but it doesn’t pretend to be anything than a ‘hole in the wall’ type place. If you want fine dining, then this isn’t for you, but if you want...More

It's in a great location, right in High Street Kensington, and is a little place with a few seats and tables and a big menu. It is much more affordable than the places in Chinatown, and the portions are an average size. Food is also...More

This place has been a great 'go to' on the way back from V&A for years. Yesterday, however, one of the 3 dishes we ordered ( Special fried rice) had large chunks of pink chicken in it, which tasted fizzy on the tongue. We left...More

If you are looking for a quick authentic Chinese meal, go to stick and bowl in High Street Kensington. Very fast service and reasonable price. Very friendly staff too.

Great little hole in the wall. Fabulous hot and sour soup and pork with crispy noodles. Went back a second night for more soup. Eat in or take out. Cash only.

This no frills restaurant is extremely popular with local Chinese and it is often difficult to get a table The food is very good and there is a wide selection. It is probably the best inexpensive Chinese restaurant in London.

In recent months the food has not been as good as before. The sweet & sour pork pieces were too big and grissly....the lemon chickan hardly any sauce. There are dozens of pieces of chewing gum stuck under the tables.....

Small and cozy restaurant. Staff serve you quickly. Roast duck and BBQ pork were both nice. The crispy roast pork was a bit fatty and didn’t have much meat to it. Overall a nice place to eat for the price.

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
