My 2 girlfriends and I went to The Sanderson to experience the Mad Hatters Tea party which we found very good. One of my girlfriends is vegetarian which they attended to very well also it was my other girlfriends birthday which they surprised her with a small cake served on a slate plate with candle. The Alice theme was good... More

My daughter and I were treated to this for our birthdays. I had heard a lot about the Mad Hatters Tea Party and was looking forward to a fun, quirky experience. Sadly what we got was an overpriced, underwhelming one instead. The restaurant is just another modern, could be anywhere design, nothing to particularly reflect the theme apart from the... More

The food from the set menu was fantastic and came with a complimentary cocktails called the Sanderson which was very nice, however you need to order a side to complete the meal. We were surprised at 8.30pm they had run out of chips, reluctantly we ordered sweet potato fries which were tremendous! The only thing I was perplexed about was... More

Our first proper afternoon tea did not disappoint! The Alice in Wonderland theme, great service, delicious teas and tasty treats took the sting out of the pricey price point.

It was my first time having an English afternoon tea and it was over my expectations. At first it felt kind of pricey, but it was worth it. The waiter was really service minded and helped us with all the questions we had and presented the dishes very well. The whole look of the afternoon tea was inspired by Alice... More

Went here for my friends birthday dinner; was very quiet as it was a Sunday evening but still a nice atmosphere. Grabbed a drink before dinner and the food was really good. Had a voucher from Time Out magazine which they accepted and the waiter Riccardo and female waitresses were really nice. They seemed to really value our opinion on... More

We ate here before going to the pantomime at the Palladium. The staff were excellent, so attentive and nothing was too much trouble, the food was outstanding and well presented, and the set meal was very reasonably priced. The only gripe I would have is the table layout. It doesn't make for a nice ambience for a couple because all... More

We had a lovely trip to this restaurant. The steak was delicious. There's plenty of fun photo opps for tourists like us! Our only comments would be that the DJ on a Saturday night was on far too early which ruined the restaurant ambience plus it was a big to 'hard' house. They also missed our reservation request that it... More

We celebrated a friends birthday on a Sunday night and had a lovely time. The hotel and bar are beautiful and very trendy. Had a couple cocktails and were amazing. Dinner was really good. Had steak and was perfectly cooked. One of our friends eats gluten free and they even had bread she could eat. We sat in their outdoorsy... More
