My wife and I booked this restaurant as we have a vegan friend who often feels left out at group meals. The atmosphere was really warm and welcoming and the wait staff were really attentive. The quality of the food was excellent and the vegan options were really good.

The decor in this place is a little quirky and its very small, the food is fantastic and the service is good. If you're a fan of Thai food definitely one to try,it's a little different to your average Thai but the flavours are amazing.

Went here for a work birthday lunch has tom yum soup - was made with coconut which surprised me as always had it with a broth previously. Main I had was chicken noodles which was lovely. My colleague had the 'spaghetti' which she didn't enjoy and was very plain, mine on the other hand was great!

This tiny completely charming restaurant was packed to the rafters on a Sunday night, but we went next door to the gorgeous Sun pub for a drink and came back. It was worth waiting for. Gorgeous food, and if anything, portions slightly too large. Great vegetarian choices (the tofu and butternut squash was heaven) . The atmosphere is lovely, eccentric... More

Great atmosphere. Beautiful inside. Staff are all nice and friendly except the person who looks like the manager looks moody. Food isn't authentic Thai and they add and tweak and few things so kinda reminds me a little of fine dining. but I didn't mind that at all because the food was good enough for me to not complain about... Ambience is really nice, food was tasty even if pricey. It is definitely an upper class kinda restaurant for special nights. We have been served by 3 different waiters, first one real nice, second one real grumpy and a third one who was not very communicative. We asked for the bill to be split in 2. When we left and... My father and I dined here to celebrate a special occasion and had booked the mezzanine table overlooking the restaurant as I wanted it to be extra special for him. I mentioned to the staff that it was a special occasion and they went out of their way to make the meal a fabulous experience for us. Little touches like... More

Group of 12, very awkward seating arrangements, cramped up so much so that even they found it hard to clear the table, no room at all. Unable to get up to use the restroom without disturbing the entire table.Restaurant was hot, stuffy, food was too rich lamb especially, must say the soft shell crab was a winner though. We overstayed our welcome,... More

The food was tasty, but was far too overpriced for the quality and setting. The side serving of vegetables (£4.95) - three tiny pieces of broccoli, four slices of carrot and a couple of chunks of onion- lacked any presentation on the plate. We left hungry and considerably out of pocket.

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
