I love Ottolenghi's food and his creativity, but I had another unpleasant experience in this restaurant, thus decided to write about it. The staff was very impatient even though I was the 2nd person in the restaurant that morning. All thru the meal, I was almost forced to listen to the conversations of the staff chatting about a meter from... More

We have enjoyed Ottolenghi restaurants in the past however this visit was most unpleasant. On this occasion we sat at the large white communal table in Notting Hill. Ordered our food and found the waitress quite obnoxious. As we were deciding she was impatient especially as everything we asked for was unavailable even though on the menu. After we finished... A corner of paradise, hidden behind a trendy Notting Hill eatery. Delicious healthy treats, gobbled up solo or with a loved one. Thank you!

We walked specifically to Ottolenghi to buy take away/take home dinner for two. We were not disappointed- all our selections were delicious and consumed that evening to the last bite. Fresh ingredients brought multiple flavours to each dish. We had 1. the bean salad, 2, the pumpkin and onion salad, 3 , the cauliflower muffins and 4 a quiche slice... More

Ideally to take away, but has little table to accommodate few people. Great quality of food and nice offer.

Cozy place for a cup of coffee with the most wonderful(!) pastries or a healthy and very delicious lunch. You can not book in advance, but after 15 minutes there is almost always room. You eat at a large communal table. They also have takeaway

After spending the morning at Portobello Road markets on Saturday morning we visited this small patisserie in Notting Hill. As we had already had lunch we were admiring the awesome cake display in the window which we couldn't resist. It was very busy with a queue for mainly take away though there was limited inside dining. The queue system was... More

The display of cakes and baked goods is gorgeous. Good for take-away, only 10 seats on a communal table at the back. The reason I'm writing a review: the salads are outrageously expensive! I paid £18 for a small box of (mixed) salad, could have bought a salad at a fine dining restaurant for that price! Price should be by... More

I always get a take away at Ottolenghi, as there isn't a lot of space for diners. The food is excellently prepared, though a little pricey. I adore the salads. Just looking at them makes you feel healthy (LOL) They are well seasoned, plentiful and very tasty. The cakes and sweets are also very good and look so tempting that... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
