Fresh, well prepared and elegantly served. Starters and main dishes were excellent. The choice of wines ample and service pleasant. One could ask for no better and the surrounding "village" atmosphere is quaint. Just add good weather (when possible)...

The aloof attitude of Cyril the "manager" was awful. As a Coeliac I had called ahead to discuss gluten free options. My wife and I also arrived early to discuss again the options as I usually do to save any problems at the table. Cyril...More

Have to respond on behalf of poor old Cyril,,Firstly he does speak with a pronounced French accent but from our experience he does not have a Gallic attitude or a percieved Amercian smile as suggested. However he is quite professional and does treat customers with...More

I have been coming to this resturant for many years now. Sadly we were met this time by the Grinch OR SCROOGE of Christmas past. The manager is the only person i am going to complain about as when one is having a pleasent evening...More

Being compared to Grinch or Scrooge is not complimentary, But because this table finshed a bottle of Johny Walker Black label does not really justify the analagy. So in this instance I do not intend to justify the comment but just agree to disagree

I ordered the pumpkin ravioli. They tasted exactly the same as the biscuits that came with the coffee at the end of the meal - too sweet and strongly flavoured with amaretto. The ravioli were actively unpleasant and even at £3 each I could not...More

Thanks for comment,,but this does come down to personnel taste. Our ravioli are homemade and served with sprinkle of crushed amaretto biscuits, hence the taste. However have had good feedback on his dish as well, but menu is changing soon and this ravioli will be...More

Would like thank this reviewer for his comments. Should point out however that prices have nothing to do with affluence of area but more to do with rents which are high as are staff costs and price of the superior products we use. Should be...More

Description
Artigiano shows just how glossy Italian high style can be, with its stylish chrome interior, high-concept lighting, rear glass ceiling, and glass front that opens like pairs of welcoming arms when the weather allows. Don't miss the 'Oscar' donated by a satisfied diner. Lunches are relaxed and calm, while dinners are buzzier. The confident, modern Italian menu's most popular dish is the spaghetti with fresh crab and rocket with a spicy crab sauce. Old favourites have got a delicious new twist, like carpaccio with homemade pesto dressing or calf's liver with wild mushrooms and fava beans. High style, great food. Please be aware, bookings for Saturday nights must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
