If the purpose of dining out is for the experience, this place is the pinnacle of awesome. Authentic in every detail, tastiest food, loved the experience here. Could have stayed all night. The coffee...I'm still dreaming about it.

This place is great, I had never had this cuisine before and the amazing waitress took us through flavours and what to order. The food is delicious, an array of spices and well cooked meat, also plenty of amazing veggie options as well! All served on an incredible pancake that has a sour dough taste to it. A delicious Eritrain... More

You won't find a more authentic, delicious Eritrean experience. The food is delicious and decent value. The coffee service comes with the fixed menu and is out of this world and the waitress has a wicked sense of humour. I have been three times and despite the business of the restaurant she has always remembered me. The honey wine is... More

First time to an Eritrean restaurant, it certainly won't be the last. If i'm honest and I hadn't of read the reviews about this place, I would of avoided it. It looked like a dingy cafe from the outside. It just goes to show, never judge a book by its cover! The food was amazing, and you get plenty of... More

On the various occasions I have been to this restaurant, it is a great place but avoid at the weekend as there is a lot more "culture hunters" looking for an exotic experience, as there is nothing worse than being surrounded by 'wanna be' urban anthropologists exoticising food. Whilst making noises when they taste the food which lacks basic table... More

We visited on a Wednesday and it was so lovely and relaxed. We sat in the arm chairs. It was just the right amount of busy with about three quarters of the tables full. The lady Janet was soooo lovely and filled us in on all the good we had and the spices of the coffee and how Eritreans eat... More

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Absolutely delicious Eritrean food, really friendly service. No pretension, just a great place and highly recommended.

I have been going to this restaurant for 18 years and it never fails to be one of the best eating experiences in London. Despite all the change happening around it, in this fast moving city, it remains true to the traditions of west Africa and the food, warmth, hospitality, good humour and service are really very hard to beat.... It opens till quite late everyday and I was really happy to find this restaurant at 11pm on a Sunday night. I was fortunate enough to have the last order there and I ordered a chicken dish. It was yummy and I had rice with it. The portion size is average, probably enough for a normal eater but it is... More
