Delicious 3 courses lunch with plenty of choices to choose from the menu, with amuse bouche and petits fours. We enjoyed each course and staff was friendly and attentive. What an amazing experience !

Yesterday had lunch at Le Gavroche with a friend. As per usual it did not disappoint, with both had a prawn dish for starters and lobster for mains. Both dishes were presented in a way that you wanted to eat them and they did not...More

We'd been looking forward to this for so long, 3 months to be exact (although I can see on their website that there's a cancellation waiting list if you're flexible). As soon as we walked into the reception/bar area we felt so relaxed and at...More

We visited this restaurant a short while ago and had the set price business lunchtime menu. The service was excellent and the food was both well cooked and well presented. We were however a little disappointed at the lack of wow factor. The desserts were...More

Dinner yesterday. Never thought about comparing Michel Roux to Britney Spears before but I was wrong! One of the main issues with high end restaurants is consistency. MacDonald been successful because, all of the world, it delivers a consistent level of "quality". In high-end restaurants,...More

This is a 'bucket list' experience you have to work at as all the lunchtime tables are booked within minutes of being released 3 months previously. V enjoyable experience although the food lacked 'Wow' ie nothing we couldn't have cooked (and do cook!) at home.

The only negative about this restaurant is the fact that Michelin continues to erroneously not bestow a third star on this establishment! The food is fabulous with service to match. If you needed more, the restrained elegance of the restaurant cannot be faulted. All in...More

Great birthday lunch at Le Gavroche The food was just devine and the surroundings add to the atmosphere. Very attentive staff, but not in your face. We had the tasting menu and I was not disappointed.

Yes, I did that as I'm not a fan of white wine. I ordered my wine by the glass separately, whereas my friends had the wine pairing. If you do the wine pairing, it costs more (I think about approx £150?).

Description
The first UK restaurant to be awarded one, two, and then three Michelin stars, Le Gavroche remains a class apart. Since opening in 1967, this Mayfair bastion of French cuisine has been very much a family affair, and chef-patron Michel Roux Jr continues the tradition today. The elegance of the menu and the ambience is impeccably tailored, while the discreet service has won its own plaudits.
