It is some while since we visited this restaurant. In the past we have enjoyed some amazing meals - sadly this time it did not live up to expectation. We were placed at a table that was near where waiting staff past by to collect...More

J. Sheekey is a noisy, crowded restaurant, but the food and service make up for that. The fish is fresh and well prepared and there is great variety on the Menu. Sheeky does look more like a club than a restaurant, but it all works.

This is an old, established seafood restaurant. Only seafood, so don't expect to find a steak on the menu. Deceivingly large restaurant that is chopped up in smaller rooms. MAKE A RESERVATION. Otherwise, you might be able to sit at the small bar to eat....More

J Sheekey has become a production line, a restaurant that happens to serve, fish. The oysters were OK. The prawns were OK. Neither were much to shout home about, but perfectly acceptable. The haddock, mushy peas and chips were not. First, the haddock was overcooked...More

Always busy but comfortable not too close to other people seating. Always a buzz here. Could be awful, as it is in theatre land and tourists everywhere. However the food is outstanding. We had the Thai Mussels followed by the Halibut on special, which had...More
