Went here from the reviews, fresh fish, haddock, and totally satisfied. Could not eat fish and chips daily, but this was the place. Very helpful staff, totally original decor, 1950's, what we wanted.

Chips to die for - hot and slightly crisp. Batter thick as is traditional with a good piece of fish. The price is unbeatably cheap, but then so are the furnishings (basic diner booths). Time warp back to the sixties!

Best with salt and vinegar. Vinegar was mild so I poured a lot. Cheaper to takeaway. Everything is so freshly done on the spot.

Didn't really expect much on fish & chips but the people here were all nice and I could get a good knowing of what fish & chips really taste like.

Basic sit-down chippy, formica tops and all, but there's nothing wrong with the haddock and chips! Table service. Better still, no muzak.

Wow! A very different kind of fish and chips today. I've been hearing about The Fryer's Delight having authentic old style fish and chips, but none of the reviews mentioned drinks (reviewers are either abstemious or just not thorough), so I mailed them to ask...More
