Very good food, decent sized portions and reasonably priced. Good choice of wine by the glass. Friendly waiter. Lovely atmosphere. What more could you want.

Mid December saw a return to the Bistro for an reunion with old work colleagues. Even though we were well into the Christman celebration period and the place was full to bursting the service and food were excellent as always. Looking forward to next visit already.

The Bleeding Heart Restaurant has always been a firm favourite of mine, so I thought I'd try the bistro. I was profoundly disappointed. Perhaps I should forgive them since it was the first working day of the new year. Whilst the menu appears interesting the food was uninspired. I ordered butternut risotto from the set menu: it was bland and... More

This is a lovely bistro, very French, in an interesting building and courtyard. The menu is good and authentic and the food pretty good - cote de boeuf, moules, etc. The wine - try their own unFrench New Zealand house wine - is excellent. The service was not bad, maybe a bit Gallic/eclectic. What let it down was cold French... More

A lovely French bistro which feels very authentically French whilst being in the heart of London. Service is brilliant, food excellent and the surroundings very comfortable. As perhaps is to be expected with its location, this is often full of city workers at lunch, but that shouldn't be held against it. Whilst not massively expensive, you can easily run up... More

This restaurant was selected as the venue for this year's Company Christmas Meal. It was an inspired choice. The decor is charming, historical and typical 17th Century. It is tucked away behind Hatton Garden but is well worth seeking out. We were seated in the Wooden wall panelled Restaurant although there are other areas with equal charm and appeal. The... More

Visited on a Saturday and received a fine welcome.Received a prompt and friendly service. Food excellent bistro style and our party of four were very happy with steak Hache, Omelette and Moules Frites. The wine was a fine full bodied Malbec from Mendoza. Cost including service some £140.

A very French bistro. I took some business partners here for a post meeting lunch and they were pleased by the experience. For a lunchtime "above average" experience, at a reasonable price, this is not a bad place to visit. All around the table reported a good lunch (all had starters and main) and enjoyed the small, friendly, bistro vibe... More

Have been there for lunch with clients twice over the past month or so as close to my office. It does appear that this is what it caters for as many suites and business people there. Kitchen closes at 14:30 so you'd better order in time. Food ok, but quite pricey, some complaints in my party that the fish was... More
