We had a meal in the upstairs restaurant, which was busy by 1900, as was the bar downstairs. The food was reasonably decent in terms of quality, but I thought expensive for what it was. A fair amount of choice in terms of menu and drinks, but nothing imaginative. Service was pretty good, though ordering a drink from the table... More

Got there early and was served by Juan who concocted the most deliciously spicy bloody mary. Checked out the roof terrace and upper floor restaurant area, friendly, lovely staff. Having spent a day with close family we all went back for the last drink before our journey home. Well made martini expresso again courtesy of Juan. Were brilliant with the... More

I dined here for a work lunch befor Christmas on a table in the downstairs bar area so naturally the place was busier than usual. Upon arrival, we ordered drinks at the bar which took some time as there was just one staff member serving which was a bit odd given how busy it was. Food service was friendly and... More

Dear K_Ngo82 Thank you for acknowledging the friendly and swift service when you recently dined with us. Apologies for any crab shell but food is made fresh in house and indeed this can sometimes occur - sorry! I totally agree that the moules and the fish pie are great and are firm favourites amongst our customers so really pleased you... More

A couple of friends and I booked to go to eat and have drinks. The food was not great- the King prawns were very small and despite ordering sweet potato fries- we were severed french fries. Personally i don't think it's value for money and pictures of the food are slightly misleading.

It's not easy to be objective about a restaurant and bar when you've visited 4 days before Christmas, London is heaving with people, and the restaurant is full and the noise cacophonous. It's even less easy when the ladies' loo isn't working, and the men's has only one cubicle in operation. These are poor starting points, on top of which... More

Dear glutton4nourishment Loved reading your review and thank you for the lovely comments regarding the food wine and service. We do try really hard to get these right. Apologies for any issues regarding our very busy and well used toilets which became rather fatigued and worse for wear but are all well again now We hope that you'll come back... More

I only visited the bar. Bustling bar rather than a pub. clientele mixture of office and commuters having a quick drink before venturing home. It had the feel of an early evening place. At 1800 it was packed but the serving team were efficient and friendly. The bar is more continental than British, with a good range of wines and... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat before attending a concert at the Royal Festival Hall. We booked Auberge as it was 10 minutes' walk from RFH and had some decent reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. The restaurant is above a busy bar area. We were quickly welcomed by one of the friendly waitresses and shown... More

I had been here a few times for drinks on the terrace. Friends and our kids decided to eat here and we were pleasantly surprised - the moules and escargot were lovely. Best garlic bread I had had in years. The staff were nice and friendly and the service was quick. As it was lunch we were downstairs but I... More

This restaurant offers a 'french' impression and delivers a reasonable experience. The menu is rather limited (especially starters) and is not particularly authentic in presentation of the meals. Quality is satisfactory but not outstanding. Friendly service enhances the overall experience. Steep stairs are not easy for older visitors. Can be good value with an 'offer' such as Tastecard.

Dear Ian P Thank you for your comments and i am pleased that you enjoyed dining with us. I am also pleased that you thought the service was friendly too. With regard to the stairs - the same menu is served up and downstairs and toilets are located downstairs to ease those with difficulties Kind Regards Karen More
