We enjoyed a decent lunch with attentive service. You get the full range of Italian choices including pasta. I don't think we really appreciated the high prices for water, wine, cover charge, service charge, side dishes, you name it, which led to £80/head for two...More

I understand that restaurants need to have two sittings per evening per table, however, we had only been sat for ten minutes when the first of a few reminders was delivered by the very friendly waitress, it all felt a bit rushed. However, that said,...More

Normally I do not review restaurants in my home town as either they are expected to be good or they are disappointing. On this occasion we had such a lovely evening that I am compelled to comment. It was a Saturday night. We had a...More

Very good food at Santini in pleasant, but slightly tired surroundings. The wine list did not have three of the wine by the glass options available. Only only of our group was drinking so a bottle was hardly appropriate. This seemed a remarkable oversight for...More

I had heard good comments about Santini - a pretty pricey Italian. One day decided to try it although I generally prefer Japanese (Uni opposite is good). I can't even remember what pasta dish I ordered. All I remember is that it was inedible as...More

Recommended by the concierge at our hotel, this was a lovely supper. Food was great, wine well priced for this part of London and service good, without being overbearing. We sat outside on the terrace and really enjoyed our evening.

We arrived without a reservation on our first night in London. The service was first class as was the food. Crab and linguine was a particular highlight. If in the area it is hard to find better value and welcoming restaurant.

This is the second best Italian for me in London.. Even though it is relatively new, staff especially bar staff is very experienced, talkative (like a proper Mediterranean) and helpful. I choose Santini for taking my guests especially outside of London. It is very close...More

"Definitely a place to be seen. Owners Gino Santini & daughter award winning food writer Laura Santtini serve up fabulous Italian flare. Elegant and sophisticated restaurant with a newly refurnished cocktail bar where diners can also enjoy a lighter meal if they prefer. Menu highlights include seasonal salads, homemade pasta such as spaghetti with fresh lobster and papperdelle with artichokes and a range of fresh fish and meat dishes."
