Shown upstairs to our table, wooden cubicle style with benches. The waitress was rushing about and asked a couple of times if we were ready yet making us feel hurried. The food was as speedy as the waitress, arrived quickly and absolutely delicious. Small portions...for a lot of money but a great place for a treat. The candle lit atmosphere was pretty and I’d return for an occasion, hopefully not made to feel under pressure to order.More

Really enjoyed my visit here with 2 friends. Nice vibe and setting for dinner. Great tapas menu, so much to choose from. Everything we ordered was so tasty, we ordered 9 dishes between 3 of us from different sections on the menu. Would highly recommend...this place. Looking forward to my next visit.More

Step through the unassuming door into a different world. The casual industrial decor is the right side of warm and homely and upstairs you can Find yourself Feeoing relaxed and out of the London hustle. The tapas was great here and not too pricey. Wine...and port both excellent, not the biggest place so I would recommend booking if going at a busy time.More

We are due to holiday in Portugal soon, and as that may well be cancelled, decided we would get in the mood / replace it with an evening at the Port House. I am a lover of white Port, something that isn't that widely available...so to be able to sample a whole range was lovely. My husband had a number red wines by the glass and also enjoyed the chance to try things he wouldn't normally get to sample. We had several rounds of tapas over the course of the evening - all of them delicious. Whilst some of them were "standard" tapas fair - meatballs, croquetas, serrano ham - others were more unusual - scallops & duck for example. All were really tasty and the portion size was great. The staff were all really helpful leading to a really pleasant evening. The Covid-19 restrictions were well adhered to - plenty of sanitiser, and I saw staff using it at random points during the evening. I am pretty sure that some of the tables have been taken out of use to spread people out as much as possible given the nature of the venue. Plenty of cleaning was going on as well. We will be back I am sure.More

We have been to the Port House several times before, and have generally had a really good meal with good service, however this latest time was pretty poor. We were left waiting for over an hour to order food, the majority of which then took...another hour to arrive. The staff seemed annoyed that we were asking when our food was going to arrive. It appeared that we had been forgotten about, when the food eventually arrived, most of it was either cold, undercooked or overcooked. The service was so slow that the kitchen had closed by the time we were ready to order dessert. We arrived at 8pm and ended up leaving after midnight because of how slow it was.More

We met friends in town (London) and as a party of six without a reservation we knew we were pushing our luck in these strange Covid times, however, the Port House even though it was at capacity found us some space and we had some...amazing tapas and drinks in this vibrant cantina atmosphere. The servers were great fun and very efficient. Food was delicious and there was something for everyone on the menu. Highly recommend this place and will return.More

I concur with the other replies, call them. It is a fairly small establishment and if I recall they do not take bookings for small parties, but the staff are very helpful so ring them.
