My visit to this restaurant was amazing. The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. It took me back to my last trip to Tokyo. The knowledge of our waitress Lizzie was amazing, and i thoroughly enjoyed her humours remarks. The Ebi Katsu was fantastic and cooked to perfection, the batter was light and crisp. The chilli squid was... More

Prior to taking a Ripper tour walk we wondered around Algate/spitalfields looking for a place to eat there being 6 of us it was a little difficault. However the ladies took in the menu of wagamama's and we went in. I thought it was a stake type place how wrong can you be! Its Japanese style noodle. Well we struggled... More

Visited this restaurant with my vegan friend. Not 100% sure what the vegan options were we asked some advice. Tom, the manager, came over and talked through all the options on the menu and also all the menu items that could be made vegan. We ended up having the Pad Thai and Firecracker with Tofu. The food was amazing but... More

Had a great meal here although a bit pricey. Efficient service although they do struggle when busy as have been before. Nice surroundings Would go back but only for a meeting place or a casual lunch

Had a lovely gluten free meal , the waitress who was vegan herself recommended the coconut ramen with rice noodle. It was delicious. My only quibble was the first waitress was abrupt and rude as we moved from outside to induce as it was getting cold. I actually wanted to leave. But the second waitress saved the day. Silver blond... More

I had the pad thai which was tasteless and bland and uninspired as anything, it was very disappointing. I also had the duck starter where the hoi sin sauce had a funny taste to it, wasnt impressed considering it cost me 6 pounds. A poor restaurant in an otherwise good location

This is usual Waga quality but in especially nice surroundings. Food and service great. Casual but made us feel special. Delicious food too. Definitely will return. Good value for money.

Wagamama is never going to be gourmet food but it's usually tasty. 2 of 3 meals were sent back due to no taste at all. The chef seems to leave whole ingredients out at times. Even my replacement meal was bland! The staff were nice, That's about the only nice thing I can say about the experience

I've been going to wagamama for years ever since they first opened in soho. They've recently changed menu and I was disappointed. Order the firecracker curry, supposedly hot but was so mild and lacking in any flavour. Why mess with a formula that works

I visited Wagamama in Spitalfields with a colleague, the food and service was excellent as you would expect from Wagamama.

Neighbourhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
