Just off Covent Garden this is a no frills celebration of great ales. As we searched for it a total stranger interrupted our map reading and she told us to head for The Harp, it was round the next corner. The run of ale pumps...More

This is a well run real ale pub. Great atmosphere lunchtime or evening. The upstairs seating area is quirky and when it's not too busy, a great place to put the world to rights over a few pints. Good location, close to Charing Cross and...More

The Harp always has several boxes of proper cider and perry on the go (our favourite is whisky cask), with decent descriptions of each. Our go-to pub in the West End.

The Harp: small, friendly and an incredible selection of ales and ciders. People spill over into the street to sample The Harps wares. Very popular with the afterwork drinkers, there's an alley at the rear for the over spill and a cheeky smoke if you're...More

I must have been to this pub 40-50 times over the years, which isn't bad for someone who has neither lived nor worked within miles of it. It's central location makes it an ideal place to pop into for a beer or two when in...More

Great little pub a convenient 15 minute stumble back to Waterloo (or 5 minutes if you take the Tube from Charing Cross opposite). Great beer with many cask ales on tap at any one time. Almost always rammed, and very male orientated - food is...More

Wide range of beers. Nothing special and more than an English pub. I think, place is just famous for having a good reputation in Tripadvisor site. Stand in front of the bar and sip cold beer on the street? Maybe yes, maybe no. Up to...More

Great beer, excellent service, noise comes from customers talking and not loud music. Most of the crowd is local and it offers the best beer in the area. Highly recommended - my favorite pub in Central London.

Stopped in here for a few pints. It was packed. We found a little spot along the wall and posted up. Really busy environment - little seating, no food - not a bad thing at all! Lots of options for beer and cider!
