Popped in this pub for a drink on Friday night. Felt comfortable as a female solo traveller amongst all men.

Always been a good pub even exchanging hands. Much of the old regular staff gone now but karl still remains. Service is still as good. Shame it's all men.
Many thanks Zoe for your 5 star rating and as you've noted, things have remained very much the same and will continue to do so, although staff do come and go.
Went for a drink after a long day touring. The Harp is a lovely little pub and we had a nice bitter and a lovely cider.
Many thanks Petermac-red for your 4 star rating and I'm glad you came to us to enjoy a nice drink in our lovely pub - Cheers !!!

We visited The Harp twice (so far) during our visit here. It is a friendly pub, traditional, cool and, if you aren't used to real pubs, definitely worth seeing. The service is quick and friend. The prices are lower than many. The place fairly sings...More

Visited this place twice, within the same week, both times beer was good, staff were attentive and efficient, managed to find seats both downstairs and upstairs. beer choices almost completely different, plenty of choice. Cost about average for central london about £4.40-4.90 a pint. Lots...More

Nice staff and great beer mat feature above the bar. Packed after work and great buzz, only issue is some of the pints are crazy priced, 7+ pound a pint. Great selection just ensure to ask price before ordering as you may get a shock,...More
Many thanks Pete for your 4 star rating. I understand your pricing comment.......some of the beers we have on at times, can seem a little pricy, but the general rule is - the higher the ABV% the more it costs.
Superbly kept real ales at a reasonable price. Knowledgeable and friendly manageress. Great traditional British pub ambience - ie packed and people mostly standing and no food. Also plenty of other beer - "craft beer" if you feel the need to pay £3/pint more and...More
