The service was good, nice decor but it's rated average because of the overpriced cakes - the cheapest to eat in is £4.95 for a Danish pastry, some cakes were £6.95 / slice of average size. They also charge 12.5% service charge and automatically add this to your bill. A shame!

From outside, this cafe looks very inviting, especially when you look at the cakes in the window shop! 3 of us had meal in restaurant around corner and decided to go for a cake after, at cafe Concerto. If you look at the window, you will see that cakes are around £4.00. We had 3 cakes and glass of coke... More

We visited this place after a long walk. It was rainy windy evening. We wanted just some hot tea and a cake. When we entered the cafe I asked if they serve tea and the man answered "You can not just drink tea". Weird ;) So we got a table for three persons near the entrance. It was a huge... More

Stumbled across this little place after a long day walking around the local galleries. The look of the cakes in the window was enough to entice my mother and I in for coffee and cake. The waiter/manager that greeted us was kind and attentive without being intrusive. Offered a lovely table in the window and suggested that before i order... More

Went here with my family for some sweets. Food was good like usual but the service was lacking. The waiter did not bring any sugar for tea, when we asked for some, she brought it over, waited for us to take some and then took it away :))). Weird and funny is a sad way. She then served the last... More

We had a main and a dessert, both of which were relatively pleasant. I had the mushroom ravioli and my partner had the lamb shank. Both of which were okay but won't send me running back for more. For dessert, I had the strawberry gateau and he had the chocolate gateau, both of which were nice but had that mass-produced... More

Food was passable, eggs Bennedick was terrible. Coffee nothing to rave about (but that's Europe in general). I would never ever go back to one of these places again.

We had around 45 minutes to spare before theatre and although they were extremely busy they found a table for us. When we said how much time we had they took our order right away and our food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was very good and reasonably priced and the waitress was very friendly and efficient. The only... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
