Beautiful cafe and decor, making great coffee, and plenty of continental temptations to accompany. Nice service and was relatively quiet and peaceful when we visited.

Went here twice. Impressed with the ambience and decor. First time was excellent, fast friendly attentive service and food - could not fault it. Second time was disappointing - very slow service, grumpy faced waiting staff, one dish overcooked, the other was good. Giving it...More

Daunted by formal restaurant at about 3pm, after 12 o’clock matinee, but spotted the Counter. Most important thing to know: there are tables you can sit at, and there is table service. Everything else just flows. From a cup of tea, to a small lunch,...More

Have been to this place a few times and each one of those is a great dining experience. Tea may be consumed on the outside tables when the weather is nice. Also had teas and cakes -- their cakes are to die for. Tonight, had...More

Saw this place from the bus and decided to get out and eat. It's beautiful inside and has a lovely atmosphere. Very interesting menu with basic things and more adventurous things. The food and drinks came to us very quickly, and the staff were very...More

Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized
lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is
not just considered the heart of this bustling London
