We visited on a Saturday afternoon after booking a few weeks in advance . Such a superb place an old style bar with lots of character . We tried one of the Taster menus which is a great way to try lots of different flavours . I would totally recommend a visit even if you are not a gin lover... More

This place is brilliant if you are a fan of gin! It's tiny (so I'd book a table) but what a hidden gem in central London. I'd recommend the tasting menu - 4 Gins for under £30 (not bad for central London) with the option to pick from several menus including the extra strong or blind versions. Fun evening all... More

I love gin and this place is amazing. Best to book a table in advance because this place gets very busy - but once in, nothing is too much trouble. The two of us had a tasting menu 1 and a tasting menu 2. Well recommended as we got to try 8 different gins between us. A different glass and... More

Came here before I knew I liked gin, returned as a gin lover. Love the tasting menu, the nibbles are lush, the venue so full of character. I came before knowing you didn't have to be a gin lover to enjoy. I returned a convert and can't recommend enough. Helpful hint...book!! Its easy it secures you a table.

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon in May, and spent a lovely 2 hours sampling & tasting. We tried an 8 gin 'tasting' menu, between 2 of us, featuring gins from all over the world, and the flavours were many and varied ..... but all very pleasant! The staff were attentive, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about their whole selection of... More

Booked for friends birthday, great location, amazing knowledgable friendly staff. Where to start hundreds of gins, fantastic menu choice and also fab recommendations. Booking a table is a must, not somewhere you can just drop in. I bought gin money for friend, classy vouchers. It's not cheap but the drinks are exquisite- we tried lots of concoctions and enjoyed them... More

We tried it the tasting menu - 4 different gins with separate garnishes. The staff were great about creating some ceremony & the whole experience was slick & interesting. Not the cheapest bar in town (think whiskey bar prices) but worth it if you love gin - you need to book a table.

I came across this online while looking for a treat for my husband's birthday. It was late notice but they managed to squeeze us in for a 2 hour slot and it was great. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but the staff were very helpful in explaining how things worked and nothing was too much trouble. It was... More

This is a must for gin lovers. The atmosphere is good and every member of staff we spoke to was more than happy to help us choose gins to try. You could tell they really knew their stuff which made a huge difference!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
