Pleasant stop off for a coffee. Very nice selection of cakes. Convenient for Holborn station and Bloomsbury.

I usually find this chain of bakery-cafes to be of a reasonable standard, but sadly not this location. My husband and I stopped here for a late breakfast and it was a mistake. I was served cold toast and rubbery eggs. My husband's breakfast was also served cold and did not look appetising at all. I won't go back to... More

I have been to various branches of Patisserie Valerie and this one in Holborn at the corner of Sicilian Avenue was as good as any. It has the usual amazing window display of cakes which is enough to entice anyone inside. It is a spacious branch with plenty of seating including outdoor tables.. Service was prompt and welcoming. The blueberry... More

Fab afternoon tea, friendly staff and totally worth the money! Cute setting and lovely cakes.... my only negative would be that a few sandwiches did not have every single tiny peice of crust cut off.... but that is being totally picky, some may not have even noticed! Get to patisserie Valerie now!!!!

Waiting staff seemed unimpressed with customers and service was slow to the point of us being ignored. Cakes were OK, just quite dry which was disappointing.

They offered a pleasant continental breakfast of coffee, tea, and various rolls and buns. It's a cozy, little diner right off of High Holborn, and seems to be popular spot for people to have tea in the afternoon.

We went here for breakfast. The service was pleasant and quick, the coffee was good, as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. But the pastry, which was supposed to come close to the original French quality, was pathetic. The pain au chocolat and the croissant were stale and too much dough was used, so afterwards they sat in our stomach... More

Popped in here for a coffee and a bun between business meetings. Waitress struggled to understand me and explain the menu as English was not her first language. Maybe she was new but not a very relaxing/welcoming visit
